Hannah returned to her office in Greece, where she was met by her assistant Lionel. "Welcome back Ms. Lupin!" he greeted. She smiled, "Thank you, Lionel." "Can I get you anything, ma'am?" Hannah pondered for a moment before responding "Can you go to my mailbox and get everything that's there and bring it to me? I must have quite a bit." Lionel nodded before running off again.
Hannah sat down at her desk and opened her briefcase, she took out a picture frame and set it up. In the photo, was her, the Weasley's, and Harry and Hermione from the World Cup. She smiled as she looked at all of their smiling faces. A few moments later, Lionel returned with a file of papers and a bouquet of flowers. "M'am these came for you, just now." Hannah took the flowers "Was there a card?" she asked. Lionel pointed at the file "It's in there." Hannah nodded, "Alright. You can go, Lionel, thank you." He nodded and bustled out of the room.
Hannah opened the file, and right on top, there was a card. She opened it and recognized the scrawly handwriting right away. Smiling to herself, she began to read.
Hannah,
Hello! It's only been an hour since we last saw each other but I, being the smart genius I am, I sent these ahead of time. Don't roll your eyes, I know you're doing it.
Hannah laughed, she did roll her eyes.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the flowers. All the best, Bill xHannah smiled to herself before closing the letter and looking a the flowers. They were a beautiful batch of roses. She pulled out a piece of parchment and began writing a letter back.
Bill,
Thank you so much for the flowers! They helped make my awful return to work a bit better, and they really brighten up my office. Until we meet again, Hannah.She signed and closed the letter and sent it out the window with the owl who sat in the corner of her room, Hera. "Safe trip girl," she said as Hera flew away. Hannah then opened the file again and began going through all her missed paperwork.
Later that day, Hannah returned to her apartment and collapsed on her couch, with a glass of wine. She flicked her wand and turned on her fireplace. A few minutes later she heard a noise coming from the fire "Pst. Pst!" whispered the noise. "What the fuck?" Hannah wondered aloud. She walked over to the fire and looked down at it. "Hello love." said the voice. Hannah gasped, she was staring directly at Bill's face that was flickering in her fire. "Bill, what the hell-?" He laughed, "I had our fires connected earlier this week. I just needed you to turn it on so I could pop in and say hello."
Hannah smirked, "You must really miss me, huh?" Bill chuckled "You caught me." She smiled, "I miss you too Bill." He grinned. "How's Egypt?" Hannah asked. "Boring. How's Greece?" "Not bad. I missed my own bed quite a bit not gonna lie." Bill grinned "What? Sharing a bed with Ginny wasn't fun?" Hannah laughed "It's not that it wasn't fun, she just kicks. A lot." Bill laughed again "Oh trust me, I know." Hannah grinned. "Is there any other reason as to why you decided to pop into my fire? Anything you wanna talk about?" she asked, grabbing a blanket and wrapping it around herself as she sat down beside the fire.
"Well..there is something." Bill paused, unsure of how to continue. "What is it? You can tell me anything, y'know." He nodded and smiled "I think I'm developing feelings for you Hannah, and I don't know if I should, or if I want to." Bill finished and they sat in silence for a minute before Hannah chuckled "Well-uh-Bill, I've developed feelings for you as well. So I think you should, and want to." she smiled into his face at the fire, as his face broke into a wide grin "Seriously?" Hannah laughed "Seriously." "So- what should we do about it?" asked Bill, grinning through the fire. Hannah shrugged, "Date night? I'll come to you?" she asked. "Sure! When?" he responded. Hannah laughed "I'll show up at your door one day unexpected, how's that?" Bill smirked, "Spontaneous, I like it." Hannah grinned "See you soon Bill." and with a flick of her wand she turned her fire off.
Hannah flopped down onto her couch with a wide grin on her face, and was practically laughing with joy.
{the next day}
When Hannah awoke the next morning, she noticed an owl flying outside of her window and let it in. There was a letter tied to its leg, she untied it and opened it to read;
So last night..that happened did it? I wasn't dreaming?
bill xHannah laughed to herself and grabbed a quill and scribbled back her response and sent it off with the owl. She grinned as she got dressed and headed back for another day at work.
When she got into her office, she asked Lionel to get her a coffee and continued to work on her paperwork from the previous day.
Later that day, Hannah was sitting in the staff dining room of her workplace by herself when she heard a whistling out in the hall. "No one ever whistles here" she thought aloud. She stood up curious, and peeked her head into the hall, there was no one there. Hannah shook her head and went to sit back down to continue her lunch.
That night, Hannah went back to her apartment and got into her comfortable clothes, made a bowl of popcorn and sat down in front of her TV, which was reshowing the World Cup. About an hour into the show, there was a knock at her door. She got up, walked over to the door and opened it to see a tall red head grinning down at her. "Bill?" she laughed. "How's this for spontaneous?"
