~Rosie's POV~
"Morning mum, morning dad!" I said cheerfully to my parents, walking into our cramped ally kitchen.
"Morning sweetheart" mum replied, while dad hugged me. I put some bread in the toaster and while waiting for it to pop up, I grabbed my hairbrush and started smoothing out my long, thick, dirty blonde hair. I had P.E today, so I put it into a messy bun. Just in time: my toast popped up.
I ate my breakfast as I walked upstairs and checked my phone. I quickly applied my usual make up - mascara, eyeliner, foundation and pastel-pink lip balm - and grabbed my bag. I double-checked my outfit before I opened the door. It was one of my favourite outfits (a black Nirvana shirt with high-wasted black skinny jeans, grey vans and a maroon beanie). I shouted to mum and dad that I was leaving and started my short walk to school.**********
As I walked through the reception, I scanned the place for the squad. Nope, they must be in the bistro (cafeteria). Sure enough, they were huddled on to the far back table, talking quietly about something or other. I strolled over and sat next to Frankie. "Hey guys!" I exclaimed.
"Hi Rosie!" They all chorused. I looked at Frankie, who was absolutely stunning, with her thick, wavy, chocolate brown hair, and eyes just to match. Then there was Louise, and she was really pretty too. She had light blonde, dead straight hair and bright blue eyes. She was really shy, but when you got to know her, she came out of her shell and she was actually really loud. Sitting opposite me was Brooklyn. Oh. My. Lord. He was so flipping hot. But I only liked him as a friend. Calm Rosie. Calm. He's a friend, that's all. Yep. He had brown, slick hair with blonde at the top, and today it was slightly hidden by a snapback cap. He had these amazing eyes as well: they were deep brown, and you could stare into them all day. No, Rosie, snap out of it. He. Is. Your. Friend. And sitting next to the walking sunshine (damn it) there was Will. He had black hair (by the way it was dyed - I think his natural hair colour was light brown) and he had green eyes. He was really nice, but he was very quiet, even around us. I think he's going through that emo phase that everyone gets.
All of a sudden, the bell rang signalling we had to go to form. We got up and headed in together. "What have you got next?" Asked Brooklyn. Damn his voice was sexy too. Shut up brain.
"Geography," we all answered at the same time.
Just as I was about to rush to class, Louise told me: "Oh, and Rosie, before you go, me and Frankie need to finish that English assignment, and we know you've already done it so could we come over tonight so you can help?"
"Yeah sure! Meet me outside North Block by the benches and we can all walk home together." I answered.
"Sounds like a plan!" Louise popped in.
"Great! See you then!" I called over my shoulder as I hurried off.
