Star Crossed

This is an original story I wrote a couple of years ago. Things to notice there are many upon many run on sentences and no Grammar and punctuation. Apologies in advance if the continuity is hard to follow.

A young boy gazes at the moon and the surrounding constellations feeling that he has a predetermined destiny. Pondering what other boys his age don’t even care about and that one thing is finding that one person where you will find eternal happiness. He lays there staring at the moon as he falls asleep. Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh the alarm goes off immediately it’s time for school once again. "Alex!" His mom yells from the kitchen as she makes breakfast for him. Alex’s mom is a single mother who works two jobs to maintain the household. “Come down and eat before your late for the bus again.” Alex jumps out of bed realizing the time “7:50am”, “Oh Shit! I don’t want to walk and have to run into Michael on the way to school again.” He throws on some clothes he sees laying around in his room he uses mouthwash to clear up his breath and quickly gels up his hair and slicks it back runs downstairs to grab breakfast luckily his mom made small portions of egg, bacon, sausage he slaps two pieces of bread on the meal and kisses him mom goodbye. "Thanks mom I love you!" He yells, as he closes the door behind him. He sees the last two kids get on the bus “Stop!” He yells as the bus driver just closes the door and departs. All of a sudden his stomach drops and he thinks to himself, “way to go Alex there’s another tardy to add to the year” he starts walking and dreading the moment he has to inevitably run into Michael. Now, Michael isn’t a bully by any means he is a troubled  teen that dropped out of school since the 8th grade he became a hood legend overnight by taking out the once leader of Michael’s gang who controlled my neighborhood and the surrounding cities.“Well if it isn’t Lex the schoolboy” breaking Alex’s train of thought. “So have you thought over my offer Lex?” Michael asked. “I told you I will never join your gang, I want to do something with my life I don’t want to end up in jail or in a position where I won’t have a chance of a real future.” Michael and his gang start laughing “hahahahahhaha don’t be a pussy Lex your meant for this I can see your potential even by refusing me a third time shows me you have balls all the others just cowered and joined because they don’t have a spine to refuse me, but you refuse me every time I asked you.” “Well then fuck off Michael I’m not joining you and my name is Alexander not no fucking Lex” remarked Alex.” well “Alex” now you know I can’t just let you walk away alive since you won’t join us you will be the example to everyone who even thinks about refusing my offer they will suffer the same fate as….. And at that moment before Michael could finish the rest of his sentence Alex ran for his life. “Get Him! Screamed Michael as Alex ran going through alley to alley trying to find a hiding spot from the gang that was pursuing him. They were closing in on him he had to think quick Alex ran into a gangway where there was construction he hid into a building that had minimal flooring he can hear them getting closer and closer every pant he took gave away his position, this is the turning point in his life there’s a big chunk of floor missing couple of steps ahead of him so he quickly thinks about what to do either get killed by the gang chasing him or jump to his death and make it quick. “He’s over here I can hear him trying to catch his breath” said one of the Gangsters.  Fuck it Alex thinking to himself, Alex takes the leap of faith into the abyss of the hole in the ground AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!. 

The Year is 2130
A young girl gazes at the moon thinking about what most girls her age is considering or already thinking about finding that one person where you will find eternal happiness with. she lies there thinking about when or where  she will encounter this individual. She falls asleep with the desire to find that person no matter the cost. The next day she gets ready like any other day but little did she know Fate had other plans for her. Victoria! Breakfast is ready yells her mom. Coming responds Victoria. Victoria comes down for breakfast she eats her meal then goes off to School. the thing about Victoria she loves to walk through the abandoned buildings in the old neighborhoods that once were livable but since the last Gang war that decided the ultimate leader who would lead the people and the gangs to a more peaceful place to live resided up high in the clouds where a bio sphere was created to keep life simple and preserved from any other disaster from coming to the city and the people who live in it. She teleports herself down to the area where the old city once was. Now a cold and desolate place wreckage lay everywhere she heads to this building where she is drawn to every morning before school she always goes to this place in the building where in a dark room the ceiling fell through and the sunlight hits the plants and vines that have grown in the presence of the sun. She hears a thump that echoes throughout the building the sound came from down the hall from her location!  She holds in her scream she decides to investigate frightened of the unknown a million things are running through her head about the possibilities of whom or what it could be? She turns the corner and sees a young boy laying face down and wondering how he got here. “Are you okay?”  Victoria asks she doesn’t know if she should just leave or ask the question again.” Are you okay?” huh? Where…. where am I? As Alex gains consciousness he is startled by the young girl who are you? He says franticly are you with them? I got to get out of here before they find me. Wait slow down I think you’re confused no one is after you. No one lives down here anymore. Alex’s head is still pounding so I’m safe? Victoria grins yea you’re safe. My name is Victoria what’s your name? I’m Alex, well it’s nice to meet you Alex. Same here exclaims Alex. So would you mind telling me who is after you? Well I was running from Michael…Michael? Victoria interrupts you know him!? Alex questioned suspiciously everyone knows who he is?. He runs Paradise, wait what is paradise? Where are you from Alex? I’m from Calumet City that’s where we are now aren’t we? Then a very cold chill ran up Alex’s spine after seeing her blank but frightened stare. How is this possible Time Travel is not yet possible said Victoria. You mean to tell me I “time traveled” your just messing with me I know the year is 2013! Alex said confidently. That would explain your Retro outfit Alex the year is 2130 not 2013. And at that moment it hit him Alex had just plunged himself into a wormhole therefore shooting him forward in time. But something more mysterious was at work here other than time. Before Victoria could consol him he hit the floor once again. Victoria did not know what to do so she just set her teleporter to take them directly to her room from their location. 20 min later….. Ugh my head, Alex wakes up feeling like he just got kicked in the head, Oh good you’re awake! Said Victoria. What happened?  Umm you passed out once you found out that u were in the future. Then his brain clicked suddenly an overwhelming sensation of sadness had come over him he now realized that he had lost his only family member that he cared about. What’s wrong Alex? Asked Victoria, nothing said Alex; well are you going to finish telling me how u got here Alex? Well I was running from Michael and his crew he wanted me to join him and his gang saying something about his great plans on how to own the city but I refused to join him so many times that he was going to kill me because I still stood my ground and wanted nothing to do with that lifestyle. So I hid in a building that was still being constructed I ran so hard when I stopped to hide in the empty building my panting was echoing so I had no choice but to leap into the floor and end it quickly, next thing I know I wake up on a floor and honestly for a second I thought I died. Well luckily I found you and not any of the suits did then you would have been in a real mess. Suits? Questioned Alex, Vicki explained to him they were agents of the newly founded government Michael has established under the same law the previous officers put in place. So I secretly take a stroll down the old neighborhood to see what once was but for some reason this time was different, how do you mean? questioned Alex. I never go into the buildings I just walk through for about ten minutes then go to sch-. Then she remembered that she was very late to school and knew the suits would come knocking on the door. I have to leave I forgot I had to go to school today and the suits will be looking for me unless I’m accounted for just stay here and I’ll see you later on Alex. Before Alex could say anything she was gone; The police of paradise are all the hoodlums that stuck with Mike since the beginning they were there to keep all the citizens in check and to make sure there wasn’t going to be an uprising. The thing about the citizens of paradise is that they are not entirely free as long as they follow the rules that he set for them in return he gave them “paradise” to live in that’s why they blindly obey Michael. are you able to locate him? No I haven’t it’s not that easy to just find someone from thin air tell me again how did this happen? You’re lucky you’re my brother or I would kill you where you stand but like I told you before he ran from me after I offered him brotherhood and to be my right hand; all I know is that after my hoods chased him into a building and they said he just disappeared, vanished into thin air needless to say that I threw them down the same hole all four of them and I stood there till they hit the basement floor I saw them all splatter and yet his body is nowhere to be found. Hahaha before I killed her, his own mother didn’t even know his whereabouts. But if it wasn’t for your brilliant mind brother I don’t think we would have made our dreams possible. Yes I know like I’ve always told you I’m the brains and you’re the brawn.  Nevertheless Adrian how long to we find him? Michael said sternly, I still don’t get why he is so damn important to you Michael. I told you a million times our destiny is intertwined with his and if we don’t get him on our side whether he is willing or not he will become a monumental problem for us trust me I wouldn’t go through so much trouble for nothing. I guess Michael I will let you know if I find anything. Adrian had been the reason why Michael had become a gangster in the first place in a way he created the monster Michael had become their parents both being junkies Adrian had took upon himself to be the brain and learn anything he could get his hands on from chemistry to physics he too was a high ranking member in one of the gangs but to remain hidden he molded his brother to be a killing machine and to do all his dirty work. So the day the gang war broke out Adrian waited to have a sit down with the leaders of the gangs and instead of him showing up he leveled the building they were in and started the gang war after they had killed all the Bosses and lieutenants the soldiers surrendered to the brothers gang. Adrian had created a supplement that would ensure their loyalty a mind control concoction he created himself. After a couple of years he made Paradise into what it is today. By 2020 the brothers went into the time capsules that Adrian had created for them once they went in. they let time take its course, they were awakened a year before Alex had arrived.  Alex sat there in Victoria’s room waiting for her to return from school then suddenly his head started ringing that he couldn’t even hold a thought then suddenly silence and a voice overcame his ears saying “yes”.
