Ok. I'm sorry!

I've just finished exams, and my school year is finally coming to an end!

I still want to write this book, and have plans for it! And possibly more, if people still read this. It also has a new cover because I didn't like the other one, and a new title!

It's gone from "Start Again" to "New Chances".

This is still new to me, and I'm still unsure if I'm doing it correctly, but I'm getting there, and love that some of you are still hanging on.

Thanks for being patient guys,

So as it turned out Miranda was fuming, and the only thing I could think of to fix it was more food.

The solution to most of my problems, as it would seem. That, showers and sleep.

However, none of these would fix my current issue. I was running late. Miranda was definitely gonna kill me.

My top didn't go with my fucking pants!!

In my hurried attempts to get ready, I fell ass over tits, creating the biggest noise, I possibly could. I continued to get my shit together, reaching for my bag and phone, before rushing out the door. Until I was stopped dead in my tracks.

"Oh, Kayla."

Kristy.

We stood there for what seemed like minutes. Until she finally spoke.

"Rob and I heard a bang. I just wanted to come up to check if you were ok, but I see that you're fine, so I'll leave you to enjoy your night." Obviously comfortable with the situation, she started to walk away, leaving me standing in the doorway.

"Hey Kristy. Could I have your opinion on something?"

The least I could do was make her feel a little more comfortable.

"Oh yeah. Shoot."

"Does my outfit go together?"

She chuckled. "Oh yeah! God I wish I could've pulled off jeans like that."

We both smiled, as it went silent, once again.

"Well, I've got dinner on so..." She pointed behind me to my bed. "Don't forget your keys, and - uh- stay safe tonight. Have fun." She walked away. I waited for a while so that it didn't seem that I was shadowing her down the stairs.

"So not only are you rude, you're also late. A repeat offender, if you may."

I had barely sat down in the booth.

"Jesus! I can't catch a break, can I? Did you order?"

She nodded and threw me a spare menu, I had a quick glance over it, and told the waitress what I wanted. She left to give the ticket to the kitchen, as I turned back to face Miranda.

She sat with her back straight up against the cushion, staring right through me. Despite the loud yells from the kitchen, and the soundtrack of the latest top 20 POP songs playing over us, the silence was almost overbearing.

"Oh my god. I'm sorry ok!"

She burst out laughing. "Ahhh. I don't care. I'm just playing with you."

She wiped her eyes sarcastically, as she 'cracks herself up'.

We finally started talking, one of us eagerly waiting for their food.
