Narrator POV:

"Hello! It says here my dorm room number is 823, I have my confirmation email right here and i'm ready for my dorm room key." you said with your four boxes, stacked up in your arms.

"gosh holding these boxes feels like jenga, one wrong move and it's all over." you thought to yourself.

"Alright! What is your first and last name?"

"(y/n) (l/n)."

"Okay (y/n), here is your key, are you able to grab it with all of those boxes in your arms?" The lady behind the table asked in a lighthearted tone of voice.

"I hope so!" You said grabbing the key off the table, holding the boxes together with your wrist.

As you walked up the stairs to your dorm room, which was on the second floor of the fourth building, you felt your phone go off. It was probably my mom asking if i made it there safe, or maybe it was my best friend tagging me in a post.

You met yourself with a wooden door with a medal lined "plaque" (which looked more like plastic than anything.) with the numbers "823". You set the box down and unlock the door. You pick the boxes back up and walk in.

"Looks like i'm the first one here!" You said out loud. "I get to choose my side of the room. hehehe" You think to yourself.

You set down each box in it's according area, The box with your bed stuff right on the bed (which had only had a small piece of foam in the white medal frame.) and you set your box of food that you had bought for the first week or so of school, Your box full of pens, text books, notebooks, your chargers, and your computer was set on top of the wooden desk with no chair. Your box of toiletries was set under your bed. and your clothes were in a box that sat on top of the dresser that sat on the left side of the room.

"Perfect." You said as you finished setting up your bed. Which had just happened to be the last thing you needed to be set up. You let out a slightly nervous sigh as you sat on your bed. as you pull out your phone you hear running down the hallway and the door open.

"Hello?" you hear a deepish voice say

"Hi?" you reply

In walks a 6'4 male with a black crew cut hairstyle, and a dark blue suit. Said male is holding boxes as he walks into the room. This dude was low key scary. he was always hunched over when he walked and looked way older to be a college student.

"Do you need any help with unpacking, it's getting late and it took me a good 2 hours just to unpack my stuff alone."

The tall dude then turned around with a desperate smile on his face and said,

"Please?"

"Yeah! What do you need unpacked first?"

"Probably my bed then my desk then my food."

"Alright let's get to it."

As you it start to lift up the box that said "BED" you strike up a conversation.

"So, What's your name?"
"Leorio. Yours?"
"My name is (y/n) (l/n)."
"So what are you majoring in?"
"Nursing, You?"
"Just basic medical courses."

As you two unpack the stuff for his bed you realize that he has a lot of bite marks on his hand.

"Hey if you don't mind me asking, What are all of those bite marks on your hand from?" you asked.

"Oh these?" He said raising up the back of his hand.
"These are from when i took the hunter exam. They never healed properly because I didn't bandage them right." he answered his own question technically.

"Really? I have hella scars from when i took it too! I also have one from when this one girl tried to steal my liscense after i got it." You said pulling up your sleeve to show a mark on your elbow.

"Oh wow. I almost didn't get mine bc my friend k$lled my opponent."

As you two both conversations about your two different hunter exams, The light coming from the one window in your room starting to die out. You turned on the light and made a quick dinner for yourself. You could tell that you and Leorio were going to be friends.
