the characters, atsushi and akutagawa, are from an anime, bungou stray dogs. i do not own the characters or the art i use !!
atsushi is cooking dinner for akutagawa and his children as usual.
i hope aku enjoys this dinner :) i made him his favourite curry rice !! he should be back soon...
atsushi's train of thought broke when he felt a little tug at his pants. atsushi looks down to see one of their lil children looking up at him and asking, "where's dad? he's usually back by now..." atsushi simply smiles and responds, "he's coming back soon he's just a little late :) don't worry about it okay? you head to bed first."
after putting the children to bed, atsushi decides to wait patiently for aku to come back. however, after two hours, akutagawa is still not back. where is he...did something happen to him? i hope not... his eyes lit up when he heard the door creak open and saw that familiar figure walking in. without hesitation, atsushi sprints towards the sound and greets the man with a big smile, "welcome back babe!"

akutagawa is super exhausted and did not notice his cheery partner running towards him. atsushi, being extremely relieved that he's okay, starts bombarding akutagawa with comforting words.
"oh my gosh you're finally back !!" "i was worried sick for you! where were you-" "don't worry i put the kids to bed already 🥰" "i made your favourite curry rice for you !!" "here let me take your coat for you-" "oh you must be so tired :/"
akutagawa is extremely touched by how concerned atsushi is and his mood is much better now thanks to him. akutagawa holds atsushi's face in his hands and shuts him up by kissing him <3

after that, they walked to the dining table to have the dinner atsushi prepared. they had a super cute conversation of their kids :') (it was mostly atsushi telling akutagawa about how rowdy they were when he was gone) they decided to lay on the couch and cuddle to watch television even though it was late. the cutest part was when akutagawa popped up on the news and atsushi, being super proud, went "oh my gosh it's you babe <3333"
shortly after, atsushi fell asleep on akutagawa's chest and akutagawa just smiled before caressing his head and giving him a forehead kiss. akutagawa then carried atsushi bridle style to the bedroom and tucked him in bed before snuggling next to him.
