Goodbye (Eren x Historia Oneshot)

Eren saw Mikasa and Levi approaching him via the ODM gear, planning to kill him. As Eren sees them coming for his head, he thinks back.

Flashback to a few Months ago on Paradis

"Ne, Eren? What would you think about me having a child?" Historia asked Eren

Eren's eyes went wide and shot towards Historia. "What?"

"What would you think about me having a child?" Historia asks again

"What are you saying?" Eren asks confused

"Exactly as it means"

"Why are you asking me this?" Eren says looking away from her

"It will buy some time to meet Zeke and initiate your plan....to activate The Rumbling. I want you to be the Father."

Eren's eyes went wide once again and shot towards Historia. "Me?! Why?!" Eren questioned Historia

"I..uhh...grew quite fond of you" Historia struggled to say turning around blushing.

There was a moment of silence and Eren kept watching her also blushing.

"Historia.." Eren managed to say. "I'm no Father material, plus I only have a few years left to live"

"I DON'T CARE!" Historia yelled turning around. There were a few tears coming out of her eyes. Eren was a bit taken back.

"I know you don't plan on coming back...I can see it in your eyes" Historia says looking Eren straight in the eyes. "I can give you a reason...to come back" Historia finally looks away.

Eren is flabbergasted. "Historia...."

"Alright"

"What?!" Historia looks at Eren

"...alright, I'll give you a child" Eren says

More tears started coming out of Historia's eyes.

"But I won't do this just for the sake of it...I'll do this out of love" Eren and Historia embrace each other. Tears kept on coming out of her eyes.

"Promise you'll come back" a teary Historia said to Eren. "Promise me! ...to come back...to us"

After a few seconds, Eren finally responds "I promise...to come back...to both of you" Eren closes his eyes.

Present Time

Levi threw his thunder spears towards the titan's teeth. The debree finally cleared a bit and there it was, a huge hole. Mikasa advanced and finally went through.

"I see"

Mikasa swung her sword and finally decapitates Eren.

Historia in her palace suddenly then felt a ping in her heart. "...Eren...you promised, you jerk!" Historia said tearjerking.

Mikasa closed her eyes "Goodbye Eren" a tear escaped her eyes.

"I guess I couldn't keep my promise....Goodbye, My Love. Take care of our child" Eren thought and closed his eyes.
