Harry sighed. He, Ginny, and Teddy were sitting in the Gryffindor common room, Harry having brought Teddy to visit Ginny, his fiancé, for a bit before the first ever memorial service at Hogwarts, and he would have to give a speech. He read over his note cards for the the umpteenth time that hour. He felt a soft hand on his shoulder, and heard the soft squeals emitting from a boy with turquoise hair, who was playing with some enchanted toy planes. Harry smiled weakly at Teddy, trying not to break down, who so resembled two of the people he looked up to, and felt the grief over their deaths with refound strength.  Ginny ran her free hand through his hair. He could only imagine the pain she was going through, losing a brother on this most painful of days, and he gave her a small hug. She pulled away after a minute, tears forming slightly. She gave a tiny laugh.

“Wonder how Fleur is doing?”

Harry smiled at the thought. His soon-to-be sister in law had gone into labor the night before. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were at St. Mungo’s, along with the Delacours and Charlie, as he and Fleur’s little sister Gabrielle were the godparents. The rest of the family agreed to stop by after the memorial service.

He gazed at the fireplace. “I’m not sure. Probably in pain. Mione says labor hurts a bunch.”

He was silent for a moment. “I just want to know why Mcgon- I mean Minerva, God it’s weird calling her that, wants to see us in her office after the service. She mentioned something about Dumbledore having an important job for us, yet, how could he?”

She shrugged. “Dunno.”

The memorial service passed, and by the end, everyone was in tears. Harry, Ginny, and Teddy, who was now asleep in Harry’s arms, stopped at the statue guarding the Headmistress’ office and quarters. The office had hardly changed; one of the few differences was the plate of biscuits where Dumbledore’s ever-present Lemon Drops were, and the two additional portraits on the wall behind the desk. Dumbledore smiled down at the young couple, who greeted him and introduced him to Teddy. McGonagall came in, her eyes slightly red, and got down to business immediately.

“I’m sure you both are wondering why I called you here?”

 Harry nodded.

“Well, I’ve spent my last few weeks working on a rather odd project, yet a necessary one at that.”

She turned to Dumbledore.

He continued. “In 1977, there was a young family who unexpectedly showed up at Hogwarts, and applied for the Defense Against the Dark Arts position. Now, I found it to be quite strange, as one of the teachers shared the same last name as one of our current seventh year, and looked strikingly similar to him, the other teacher was married to him, and although they couldn’t have been any older than 18, had a child. I realized later on that they were infact, time travelers. Now Harry, Ginny, I’ve come to the conclusion that those two teachers, were you.”

Harry and Ginny exchanged a look.

“I hope you realize that you have no choice but to take this job, or you could wreck the time stream continuum. You will arrive a few hours before the Welcoming Feast, and leave on the day kids went home.”

Ginny opened her mouth to ask a question, but Dumbledore beat her too it.

“You will return to this time not an hour later than after you left.”

“Sir, what about our stuff?”

“Ah, of course. Minerva?”

She flicked her wand at the fireplace, and their trucks, along with another for Teddy, came through.

“I do believe you will find everything you need in here. Money, clothes, baby stuff, other items.”

“Thank you Professor.”

Albus Dumbledore smiled at Harry. “Grab hold to your trucks now. And slip this necklace around you three, there you go, and tell it your time and destination. Don’t forget, you are married. Oh, here Harry.” Minerva handed him a wedding band. “Off you go!”

The couple did as they were told. Harry held tight to Teddy, Ginny gripping his arm, and the three of them felt the sensation of flying, before they landed with a thud just outside the Headmaster’s office. Teddy let out a cry.
