Six

I was walking back to my sister hoping that she was ready So that we could go because I'm getting tired again

"So did you get what you needed" I asked when I found her on a random aisle kinda ready to leave because my legs were starting to hurt. And I can't walk with hurt legs how was I going to get my chicken then.

"Yeah I got what I need we can go" she said walking towards the checkout line

We were checking out and while my sister was ringing up her stuff, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.

I took it out and turned it on to see that I had a missed call and a text message from Max, not wanting to call him back i just opened his text and it read

'Hey me and Zach are heading down to the park do you wanna join?'.

I sighed and showed my sister the phone "Are they serious? they really want me to act like they didn't do the things they did?" I said very irritated

"Just tell them you already got plans they can't force you to hang out with them again" she said I nodded agreeing with her.

I just texted him back saying that I already had plans I  sent it and  turned my phone off and walked over to the other side of the cart to help my sister with the bags. Mostly just looking for my chips since she decided to pay for my snack just  to tell me that I had to buy her some wings too.

I was in the car and my sister was putting her stuff in the back

I was sitting there With my chips in lala land thinking about the fact that I'm going to walk off these chips and get some good food later.

My sister finally got into the car and was ready to go

" Are you still getting wings?" She asked while backing out of the parking space

"Yeah I was actually about to order them so that by the time we get back to the house they would be there"

I told her while I was  opening the app for the  wings on my phone, "Hey A'myracle what kind of wings do you want Garlic parmesan or buffalo or just regularly fried" I asked never taking,my eyes off the variety of wings on the screen.

"Get me buffalo please" she said while stopping to let this older couple cross the street who were technically jaywalking but whatever.

We finally pulled up to the park and A'myracle got out of the car going to the back to get herself water

I submitted my order and turned off my phone, I put it in my pocket, I  opened the car door and hopped out.

Stepping out of the car I adjusted my clothes so that they were more comfortable now and I walked to the other side of the car to My sister

"Hey you ready" A'myracle asked walking towards the trail  "Yeah" I replied back taking one of my headphones out and putting it into my ear and pressing play on my music.

I looked up to look for my sister to see if she walked too far ahead  but instead I was met with a face I was  dreading to see.

I look up and what do I see Max and the whole gang here at this park I had so many thoughts running through my head.

I scoffed and  turned away to  follow A'myracle hoping that they wouldn't see me but it was just my luck that Zach yelled out to me "Hey Alani over here come here" he screamed over at me I  groaned frustrated I really didn't want to do this today I was having somewhat of a good day, I was so frustrated I wanted nothing but to go home now

"hey A'myracle can we go now please I don't want to be here anymore"  I just wanted to go home "yeah let's go " she said Looking over to see max we started walking back to the car, I turned and followed behind her.

We were back in the car now and A'myracle started the car and pulled out of the park and drove us home.

After we got home i went upstairs and stripped out of my clothes and threw on a oversized shirt and some boxers, once I was comfortable I checked my phone only to see 20 missed calls from Max 15 from Zach and the most important notification telling me that my food was here, dismissing the other notifications,

I threw my phone in my bed and rushed down stairs to get my food, and right when I was about to open the door it rang.

I quickly unlocked it and swung it open revealing the delivery girl with my food lord I don't know who she is but I'm in love with her right now " One box of 20 piece buffalo chicken wings and One box of 20 piece plain fried chicken wings for Alani" she said saying my name so nicely it sounded so perfect coming from her lips.

"Yeah that's me" I said with a smile which she returned yeah! I'm definitely giving them a good review "here you go love have a nice day" she said after writing something down.

"Thank you same to you" I said and shut the door as she walked away and locked it.

I walked in the kitchen after telling A'myracle that her chicken was here I took my chicken out of the bag and sat it out on the counter when I noticed the piece of paper on the top,

I picked it up and it had a word  and a number written on it the word 

'Sincere'

I smiled at the note that also read call me at the bottom, I put the note on the counter and grabbed me a glass out of the cupboard and made myself some of the  blue raspberry juice that my mom made earlier today,

once my glass was full I put the juice back in the fridge and grabbed my food and walked back upstairs to my room to eat and add Sincere to my contacts.

As soon as I got in my room I sat my food down and grabbed my phone quickly adding Sincere to my phone but not calling her at that moment because I was really hungry and didn't want to seem desperate.

After adding her contact I sat down on my bed and opened the box that had my chicken in it,

I took a piece of chicken out and quickly put it to my mouth biting it and with my free hand I grabbed my tv remote and turned it on and went to Netflix to turn on a cartoon.

I was on wing ten when my phone rang

"shit! my hands aren't clean" I panicked

"hey google answer my phone" I yelled getting up going to my bathroom to clean my hands

"Answering phone for Mom" my google assistant said and I was trying to figure out why she was calling me if she was in the house? I rushed out of the bathroom and over to my phone picking it up and putting it to my ear.

"Hello" I asked "hey, your brother and I  are about to go to your aunt's house are you coming?" she said and after thinking about it for a bit I decided against it.

And said no "Okay well, we will be back later A'myracle is sleep so don't make too much noise" she told me before hanging up the phone.

I put the phone back down and went back to my bed cleaning it off throwing away  chicken bones  and putting the rest on my side table for later, once I was done I got out my insulin pen and made sure to give myself the right amount and when i was done I got onto my bed and pulled my blanket over myself and drifted off to sleep.
