A minute before midnight strikes, you sat on the porch of your house staring at the twinkling stars above. Why have you come here? Well, the constant fighting and bickering of your parents are one of the reason. They always do that every night which makes the neighbors wake up from their deep slumber. Everytime you walk to school, they would always glare at you.
A small sigh escaped your lips, "I wonder when they'll end.. and why haven't they even separated yet?"
You have a sibling named Lumine, you would always go to her bedroom to sleep since she would sing you some lullaby and cuddle you too. But tonight, you don't feel doing any of that.
You wanted to run away and never come back.
Right when you thought, a nearby bush rustled which made you startled. Your heartbeat started racing since you didn't know what will jump out any moment though, you're quite sure that it's just a stray cat or something.
But no, instead it's a boy around your age wearing a set of scratched up clothing, branches of the bushes seem to stick on his white hair as well. He has a cut on his cheek. Dirt, leaves and branches were stuck on his clothing as well.
The boy panted heavily as he look towards your direction. He whispered something but you couldn't quite comprehend what he said. So he ran towards your direction and stretched out a hand.
"My name's Bennett, would you like to run away with me?" He said in a hushed tone.
By now, you should be running away and screaming for help since a dodgy stranger just approached you. But, you didn't. Instead, you took his hand and shook it making him show his adorable smile.
"I'm (Y/n) (L/n)," you introduced yourself and you felt yourself rise up from your seat. "Where we going..?"
Bennett turned to you and smiled, you didn't even knew him that much and you decided to come with him. Your family would be furious, but you didn't care anymore at this point.
