Personality: Ryu is sweet and hyper. She's a total nerd, but works really hard to succeed. She can get protective of her family, but refuses to let them worry about her. Her emotions can change quickly, amd she can get violent at times.

History: Ryu's mother was a ninja from the Hidden Mist, also a member of the Uzumaki clan. Her father was a Haruno, Kizashi's younger brother, and a travelling performer. The two fell in love, got married (against the wishes of their families), and had five kids. Ryu was the middle child. Up until the birth of their lastborn child, they travelled around the five great nations. While travelling, Ryu met a boy named Gaara. She never ran from him, which he found odd. The two hung around together until Ryu left for good, to the Hidden Leaf.
She started in the academy soon after she arrived. But she was often overshadowed by her older siblings.
She graduated near the middle of her class. She was put on team seven, because there were no other spots for her. But she didn't complain.
She saw Gaara again at the Chunin exams. She knew it was him instantly. He tried to kill her because she left him without saying goodbye, Naruto made him see what he was doing wrong, Gaara and Ryu made up.
After Sasuke left, she started training to learn her mother's jutsus and become stronger, like Sakura and Naruto with Jiraya and Tsunade.
Soon after Naruto left to train, Ryu was sent to spy on the Akatsuki. She stayed until the death of Uchiha Itachi.
When the fourth great ninja war started, she was placed on the front lines. She fought alongside Gaara, whom she had fallen in love with. The two were close friends, and both wanted to be more.
Ryu was killed in battle, however. She died in Gaara's arms.

Looks and Appearance
Short physical description: Ryu has flaming red hair and bright blue eyes. She's pretty pale, and stood at around 5' at 12, 5'6 at 17. She's thin, but muscular.
