Chapter 2 : To the Lab!

     Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I promise I'll try to post as much as I can!

     Ash ran through the woods to Professer Oak's lab. Tears were streaming down his face as his heart pounded heavily. Suddenly, Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, Sophocles, Lillie, Bonnie, Max, and Paul ran along with him.

     "G-guys...?"

     All it took was one nod from all his true friends to comfirm his thoughts. Despite his anger and sadness about being betrayed by his so-called friends, he felt, for the first time since the betrayal, happiness.

Ash P.O.V.

     After receiving the nods, I smiled a bit, grateful for my friends. We kept running without saying a word. After a while, when we arrived at the laboratory, walking up the stairs, I spoke.

     "Why do you believe in me?"

            ........

     Everyone was silent for a few seconds.

     "Because we know you can do it."
      "You never give up, and that is why."

     Lillie rushed forward and gave me a huge hug. "You always stayed by my side, no matter what."
 
     I stood there, surprised, then hugged her back.

     A few seconds later, I could hear snickers behind me.

     " Wow, so Ashy-Boy finally got a girlfriend."

     Lillie and I quickly released each other. I spun around, only to find Gary.

     " Hey, so long time no see. What's with those faces though?"

     "......."

     " Let me guess, Serena, Iris, Misty, Dawn, May, Cilan. Trip, Clemont all betrayed you, right?"

      "Wha-? HOW DID YOU KNOW?!" I yelled.

No-one's P.O.V.

     "They came around 2 hours ago, and tried to convince me and Gramps to betray you. Of course, we refused to listen to anything they say." Gary explained.

      "Phew, thanks goodness. At least I still have you all on my side. Anyways, I'm here to collect all my pokemon, just in case the traitors find them and try to take them away from me."

      "Alright, come on!"

      Okay, I'm pretty busy, so I'll post the next chapter soon. Sorry if this chapter is short.
