With her hair in its usual state of havoc, Wild fuzzy curls and coils sprawled All over her head. Grace pulled herself from her bed trying to get herself together so that she could make it to school on time. She always had to leave an hour and a half earlier because she walked to school. The warm water from the shower helped to wake her body up but only the soulful voice of Whitney Houston coming from her ringing phone woke her up completely. Still drenched in the water she ran to the phone catching it at the last minute. " HEY BIHHH " Erin's screamed into the phone so loud that Grace's ears rang. " Wassup E " Grace chuckled she was getting used to Erins larger than life personality. Under any other circumstances Grace and Erin wouldn't have even thought twice about speaking to each other, you see Erin was a social butterfly she loved meeting new people and learning new things she could honestly fit into any room. But Grace on the other hand was opposite so quiet that it was hard to even realize she was around, headphones always in her ears and her head constantly in a book. It was the end of their senior and the two had been paired together for a social experiment project. Their Teacher split the class into pairs via a anonymous 10 questions personality survey, no one was allowed to share answers so that the groups would be a complete surprise. The point of this was to pair all of the students together with someone they had almost everything in common with on paper but because of high school social hierarchy know nothing about each other. It was week 2 of the 4 week experiment and to both of their surprise things were good , after the initial first meet up and awkward " getting to know you " conversations they both came to realize how much they really did have in common. Erin surprised Grace with her taste In music and extensive knowledge of books and film, because on the outside she would strike tot as the regular shallow class clown. Erin was also equally impressed Grace outside of the fact she never talked at school could  of easily been in Erins inner circle. Grace was funny and had one of the most unique faces, but she kept it covered with her humongous fro. She spoke four languages fluently and seemed to come alive when she heard old school Music. Erin had never met a girl like Grace.
