Day 1.

My name is Bakugo Katsuki.
I'm going to tell you the story of how I lost the love of my life to his own mind and ended up getting imprisoned for his murder.
I'll start at Day 1, where it all began.

☆Day 1☆

Cooking dinner for Shoto and I, cold soba, Shoto's favourite, I couldn't concentrate with my phone buzzing every two seconds. I even spilt a jug of water on myself earlier because of it. I guess I just had enough after a while. I snatched the phone off the counter and checked what all the commotion was about.

It was 3 in the afternoon and I was getting texts from my husband, Shoto's, friends. They were asking if he was alright. Except for Kaminari, he was asking if burgers are just flat meatballs.

I didn't get it. Was Shoto not replying to his messages? Why? He seemed perfectly fine..

In fact, he was sitting on our apartment's sofa simply watching television.
"Shoto?" I asked him. "Why aren't you replying to your messages?"

He turned around and looked at me with this.. numb look on his face . It sent chills down my spine and I hated it, he never looked at me like that. I decided to keep my eyes on the floor.
"You aren't messaging me, are you?" He asked when he turned back to the TV showing a crime show, it was documenting on famous serial killers in history. I should've asked about that at the time..

"Well, no. But your friends―"

"It's nothing."  He murmured emotionlessly.
He didn't even let me finish my sentence. He'd never interrupted me before. He knew it wasn't the best choice to interrupt me, but I just couldn't find it in me to tell him off this time.
  I just turned back around and went back to the  kitchen counter.

I shouldn't have brushed it off that day.

Katsuki put down his pencil once he noticed the line of people in light blue jumpsuits scrambling to get into a single file line. He must've got caught up in his writing. He quickly closed his notebook and hid it where the guards never looked, a crack in the wall behind the table.

He hated life in this damned place.
