" jj stop messing with it you look hot" I whine slapping jjs hands away from her skirt " but its just so short are you sure" she asks looking at herself in the mirror we were getting ready to go and capture the unsub so we had to do a bit of shopping to fit in " its suppose to be hey emily are you almost done I need you to watch jj so I can get ready" " ok I'm coming but dont laugh" she opened the door and I had to hold my hand over my mouth she was in a short checkered dress and ankle cowgirl boots the same kind of thing jj was in but slightly different " you look great emily" jj said looking at me with a gaze that told me not to say anything " well I feel ridiculous" they both looked to me " well go and get yours on then I'm not standing here looking like a whore from the wild west alone" jj said and I laughed at them as I walked into the little room and locked the door. I started at myself in the mirror, I was wearing a short denim skirt with a cropped flannel shirt my whole stomach showing off and my cleavage all but exposed apart from one button holding my shirt together " hey y/n what's taking so long we need to get back" I sigh " I'm coming" I open the door and step out swinging a jacket over my shoulder and a cowgirl hat on my head " y/n you look outstanding" emily and jj say in unison " I put the jacket on and button it up " yeah well let's just say I made myself look good in things like this even if I now hate what I'm wearing" I tosd both of them jacket which they gladly put on " I think we need to cover up for the lads a bit else derek is going to forbid this" we all laugh before walking out of the changing stalls and walk back to the police station.

" hey guys were back sorry wr took so long someone wouldn't pick an outfit" I yell as we walk into the room and all of the guys eyes turn to us and Derek's and Reid jaws actually dropped open " you look great ladies are you ready to go" rossi said smiling at us being very polite and not staring unlike Derek and reid " thanks rossi and yeah I just need to give the girls something extra" I walked over to a spare bag which had two cowgirl hats in them I handed one to jj and one to Emily " inside the rim of these is a tazer gun and a pocket knife I'm carrying the knife in my boot but I dont want you cutting yourself doing that so it might get rough so I advice you use it" i say smiling at them " wait how did you get those weapons" derek said and I laughed looking back at him " a girl especially a Morgan has her ways" the rest of the team laugh and we make our way out to the cars one guy is taking one girl as to not look suspicious I jump into a car with derek I wanna talk to him before I went inside anyway " ready" he asked putting his seatbelt on " as I'll ever be let's go and catch this bitch" we drove off towards the club after that with the others following right behind.

"Hey Izzy wait for a second" derek says and I go to get out of the car " what's to cous and dont you start about what im wearing" I tease looking up to meet his concerned eyes " its not that although I dont approve" he sighs " are you sure your ready for this I mean you havent set foot back in there since that night and" " derek" I cut him off hugging him tight " I'm not a teenager anymore I know how to looks after myself plus" I look at the place " I cant keep running from this place forever and if I can save someone and bring this bitch in whilst facing my problems then that's a bonus" " you really havent change" he chuckles and I laugh jumping out the car " you wouldnt want me to" i snap before shutting the door before remembering the jacket " oh yeah derek can you hang onto this for me I dont want to wreck it" I take it off and throw it to him and walk off before he can protest my now very exposed chest. " right so I'm going to have to act very different inside here and so will you so follow my lead" I say over my shoulder to the girls " ok but how are we gunna get in with the bouncer" Emily asked and jj and I laughed " well I've got to get in on my own to make it seem that I'm on my own but you too can walk right in I booked you two in advance" I say and they walk ahead and say their names I try and follow them but the bouncer steps in my way " not so fast little lady name" he asks and I sigh and say my name adding a bit of flare to my voice hating that I'm going to have to spend the night like this " not on here sorry" he says and I giggle " oh come on big guy are you sure that's true why dont you check again" I say and he looking bit flustered looks at his list again " ah I see it now sorry about that miss go right in" I give him a smile and a wink before walimg inside mentally shuddering at what I just did, I walk over to the bar and sit down " hey there love what can I get you tonight" the bartender asks hes a average looking bartender nice enough but could win a fight if needed you could confide in him " a double shot of honey whiskey and two fruity cocktails for the ladies st the end of the bar" I tell him pointing to jj and Emily they smile and I give them a look which means that I remember needing this my first time so they will too " coming right up" he says and leaves me to my own thoughts for a moment " hey there sister what you doing at the bar all on your own" I look up to see the unsub and my heart dies a flip in my chest I compose myself " hey there I'm drinking my problems away got stood up by an idiot just because he found out I like a harder drink" i sigh trying to make myself look more pitiful " oh darling I'm sorry well if he couldn't handle you because of that he didn't deserve you" I smile at her as my drink arrived " there you go love just holler if you need anything oh and" he leaned to my ear " welcome back" I freeze as I realise he the old bartenders son seeing him again makes my head spin, I throw back the shot of whiskey the liquid burning a track down the back of my throat but it's a feeling that brings a sense of security to me " hey do you wanna grab a fag together I could really use one" I offer and her eyes light up u can see the evil thoughts in her head and I almost gag at the idea of what could be going through her head " sure lets go" I stand up and say to her " you go ahead just need to speak to the bartender for a sec" I say to her and she just nods and walks out the back door " you ready girls" I say to jj and Emily and they nod picking up there jaws off the floor for some reason I'll have to ask them about it later u though as we walked over to the door and out " hey girl these two wanted to join if thats ok" I say looking into the darkness but not being able to find her " actually I was hoping it was gunna be just the two of us" I heard a voice whisper from behind the door before I could react she lunged at me and pinned me to the floor " ahh" I yelled as my head hit the concrete under me " end of the line paige" she said but suddenly her body went limp on top of me " I dont think so Gracie" Emily said and I shoved her off me and pulled the cuffs from my boot and placed them on her " Izzy are you ok " jj asked and I turned to them " I'm fine jj just a bit sore can you help with her shes heavy" they smike and pull her up with me and we walk her out I'd the alley her having gained the function of the legs back " derek can I have my jacket I'm bloody freezing" I call as he along with rossi, hotch and reid jump out to take the unsub from us a jacket is thrown to me and I put it on I recognise the smell " thanks hotch" I say over my shoulder as I pass the women over to Derek " it's ok Issabell just you three go back to the hotel and change then meet us at the plane were gunna try and get going soon" I nod and pile into a car with jj and emily I try and take the keys but Emily slides in before i can so I slide into the passenger side and shut the door, put the heater up full and sink into the seat " well well Izzy that was impressive i dont think any other agent wouldnof been so calm on their first undercover let alone one on their first case" jj says as she leans forward " I was terrified what do you think the whiskey was for" I say laughing the slight burn of the liquor still in the back of my throat " well I'm not gunna lie that did shock is both a bit I mean the only other person I know who can take that stuff is rossi" jj says and emily nods " who taught you to drink like that" Emily asks as she pulled out of the spot and started to drive back to the hotel " well you wouldnt believe me if I told you that derek taught me to drink straight like I did to hit bit my taste comes from my time as a bartender in Vegas" " no way morgan I've never seen him drink more than beer" jj laughed leaning back into her chair lucky we weren't far from the hotel as we alk wanted to be back into something that we could walk around in front of the rest of the team in " yeah he used to be s hard drinker but now not so much i took that spot in the family" we stay quiet for the rest of the short drive back to the hotel we praticually sprint from the car back to our rooms to change, slipping back into my normal clothes made me feel like myself again and helped me put the events that that bar and outfit represented. once we were all changed and packed we waited for the guys in the lobby, after a bit of waiting they came down and we all headed to the plane us all looking forward to going home

" hey Izzy mind if i sit" a voice asks me i look up from my book to see spencer standing next to me " hey spencer sure you dont have to ask im just finishing the last pages of my book" he gives me a small smile beofre sitting across from me i quickly finish the book before closing it and placing the bookmark behind my ear like i had been doing since spencer gave it to me, i looked back up to see him staring at me " hey spencer are you ok?" i ask and he just nods " im just trying to read you normally i can tell what people are thinking but with you im stumped" he confesses and i laugh properly for the first time in days " well if thats all it is why dont you just ask me whats on your mind im a open book once you get to know how i operate really" i say leaning back in the chair " ok then ill only ask you one for now" he says before looking me dead in the eyes " why did you join this team off all the positions someone like you could of got in the FBI why the bau?" i sigh knowing this would be brought up sooner or later " well thats easy but also complicated to be honest, short answer" i say looking out the window " i think i will do the most good here in the feild using what has always made me stand out to others to help put these bastards behind bars where they belong" i hear a sigh come from spencer and i turn to him " your just like morgan you know and im sorry if that was a heavy question you wanna go to something lighter" i smile at him finding his curious nature aomewhat out of character from what he shows with the others on the team but also sweet " sure spencer im all yours ask away"

" so what do you think" rossi asks hotch as he sits down " what do i think about what" hotch asks looking away from his phone to the older man " about Issabell, having her on the team" hotch looks over to Izzy and then back to rossi " she makes a perfect fit to the team and her skills and knowledge into younger issues will be an asset to the team" " well i agree with you there but i think theres another reason she's perfect" rossi says pointing to reid and Izzy laughter together " i havent ever seen him open to anyone that fast ever have you?" hotch looks at the two before a small smile tugs at his lips " no, not since gidion she seems to bring it out in him which wil be a great advantage for him as well as the team" " they seem to have built a connection that and correct me if im wrong goes beyond the normal team connection" rossi says looking away from the two hotch seems to be thinking of something far away " whats botherng you hotch?" rossi asked snapping hotch back to the plane " i was just thinking of something gideon once said to me" he looked towards reid " gideon was always concerned over reid and what his future may hold after he was gone, he even tried to setup him and JJ but i knew it would never work they were always to different and never would have worked" " well gideon did have a way to show his afffection to those he cared about but never saw it happen myself" rossi commented throwing his drink back "well it makes sense gideon became a farther figure for reid but not long before he left the team as if he could see inot the future he asked me to when the right girl came along for reid even if i didnt see it i needed to help him, get him to realise what he was feeling instead of running which when he works out what he is feeling for her he would and that if i could to be there when he would of needed him most and i think i might finally have to step up" the plane seemed to go quiet " i dont think he'll run you know, i think that with us helping him he might face it" "i think your right but he never tell her you know" rossi shakes his head " well my friend you may be right about that but ive got to give the girl credit for one thing" he says holding up his glass to Izzy who was looking over her shoulder at the two men with a warm glow, she had the same drink as rossi " she has great taste in drink".
