I was tagged by @ParadoxicalWhim to write a bunch of facts about myself or something. Let's do it.
A - Actress. That's what I want to be. Or that's what I am. Acting is really all I can think about at the moment since I went to a theatre thing with my drama club last weekend. (It was awesome just so you know.) I just really like performing even though I'm ridiculously shy. Call me crazy, I guess.
B - Books. I hate them. Just kidding-I wouldn't be on Wattpad if I hated books. But I fooled you, right? No? Not even for a second? Oh... Okay. That's fine. But back to books. For most of my time in middle school, I always had a book to read at lunch. Everyone thought I was weird. I realy love books, especially old books. I love that old book smell, and I also think it's cool when you find old books with notes or writing in the margins. It's like the book had a life before you came along and picked it up. It's neat.
C - Cockroaches. I love horror movies and all things creepy and gross, but the only thing that I am absolutely terrified of are cockroaches. Other bugs are okay, they can be annoying, I guess. I actually think some bugs are really cool. And I'm not really that freaked out by spiders either. But roaches? They always reduce me to tears. THEY JUST KEEP SHOWING UP IN MY HOUSE, MAN. And my two cats are not helping me, they're apparently just as freaked out as I am. It's not fair. (Just to clarify, I don't live in piles of rotting food or anything gross like that. These aren't regular roaches, okay? They're advanced roaches. They live in trees and whenever it gets cold they decide to come busting into nearby houses. AND THEY'RE FUCKING HUGE.)
D - Differences. I think it's really cool how everyone's different. Like, really cool. I sit around thinking about it and how awesome it is. I'm a very strange person.
E - Equality. I believe in equality. It's a big thing for me. Equal rights, gay marriage, the whole she-bang. I'm about ready to start a riot if people don't start treating each other right.
F - Feminism. I believe in equality of the sexes. There's not much else to say about that.
G - Gay. I said it up there, I'm all for equal rights. I'm not gay, though. I identify as bisexual, but I haven't really told many people besides a few close friends. So you heard it here first, folks. I'm a girl that's attracted to girls and boys. Deal with it.
H - Horror. Ooh, I like horror. I like gross things and scary things and weird things. I like scaring people. I am good at it. I can't wait until I'm eighteen so I can get a job at my local haunted house. I mean, getting paid to jump out of the bushes at people? Sign me up.
I - Introvert. As in, the definition of me. Seriously though, I went to a thing this weekend so I'm pretty much done with social interaction for a few months. Also, I am almost seventeen years old and I still refuse to order pizza by myself. I'll pick up the phone and think "OH GOD WHAT AM I GOING TO SAY? WHAT DO I TELL THEM?" The rational part of my brain says "Just give them your address and tell them you want a cheese pizza, idiot," and I usually end up chickening out and ordering online.
J - Judgment. I hope one day I'll live in a world where people stop judging books by their covers. It's just annoying and rude. You can't just assume everything, because that makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me". (One of my teachers told me that joke freshman year. I haven't forgotten it.)
K - Kit Kats. I really love chocolate. It is delicious and it can cure most problems. I'm telling the truth. Chocolate ice cream is the best medicine when you're feeling down. (Unless you're cold, in which case it still helps but you will not be warm at all. Choose carefully. But if you're like me, you'll still probably choose the ice cream.)
L - Love. As in, spreading the love. I'm all about that. I try to smile and say hi to as many people as I can every day, and I compliment people often. I like making people smile just a little bit more than I like making them scream.
M - Music. I love all kinds. My favorite song changes constantly depending on my mood. I asked a close friend to sum up my music taste, and she said "Rock-n-roll and show tunes." That doesn't cover it all, but that's pretty damn close anyway.
N - Nope. I use this word often. Here's a list of things I say "NOPE" to: cockroaches, group projects at school where you can't choose your partner, hypocrites, people who say they want something but won't put the work in to achieve it, homophobes, people who are so stupid that it causes physical pain, favorite fictional characters dying, and people who are just jerks in general.
O - Optimistic. I was brought up being an optimist. I'm always smiling and trying to cheer other people up. I hate seeing people suffer.
P - Phantom of the Opera. My current obsession. Also the Phantom is now one of my dream roles. So now I have to work extra hard for my dreams because OH MY GOODNESS, CROSSDRESSING IN THEATRE? THAT'S UNHEARD OF!
Q - Quotes. I speak in mostly movie and song quotes. It's funny when no one knows what you're talking about, but it's also super cool when people recognize the quote. (See picture.) I also like inspirational quotes a lot, they get me through rough days. I got through midterms last semester by chanting "Per angusta ad augusta" to myself. (Latin for "through difficulties to honor".) Also during last semester, one of my friends had a rough day, so I wrote a little quote on a note card, decorated it, and gave it to her. She liked it so much that I've made a habit of making a little note for her daily. And guess what? I'm still not running low on quotes. Take that!
R - Rocky Horror Picture Show. My favorite movie. It just really helped me open up and look at the world in a different way. Plus it's fun to yell "ASSHOLE" and "SLUT" at a movie. (Frank-N-Furter is my number one dream role, with the Phantom as a close second.)
S - Stand up comedy. Bo Burnham, Eddie Izzard, and Robin Williams (RIP) are my favorites. It's just awesome and hilarious. I love to laugh. Sometimes I think I could be a comedian, then I think "No one would pay to hear your bad puns. No one even wants to hear them for free."
T - Twilight Zone. My favorite TV show. I love the original 60s episodes. They may not have the best special effects, or in some cases even the best acting, but some of those stories are so well done that they still scare people today. It's amazing.
U - Unlikely. As in my chances of being a successful actress. But you know what? Unlikely still means that it's possible. I like those odds. They're better than nothing.
V - Victoria. That's my name. I'm fond of it, because, you know, Victoria means "victory" and all that jazz. It helps me stay optimistic, man.
W - Witch. My first musical was Into the Woods and I played the Witch. People in my drama club still affectionately refer to me as "Witch". It has a special place in my heart, okay?
X - X. As in I'm X-ing out this letter because nothing starts with X. Nothing except xylophones and x-rays, two things I know nothing about. Or X in a math equation, I guess. So X is the unknown. I'm just babbling now. Moving on.
Y - Yee. My new favorite word. Also, the videos that make me laugh the hardest are usually the silliest ones. (See video.)
Z - Zzz. As in it's super late and I need to be sleeping but I'm not because I took a nap earlier. I sleep too much, but only when I really need to be awake. I really need to stop staying up so late on week nights.
I don't really know who to tag so I'm just going to say that anyone who wants to try this should go ahead and do it. I mean, I had fun doing this, so other people should totally do it too. Peace out.
