You remember your first days quite well, running through the forest, listening to the stories your father told you and playing with your brothers and sisters. You long to be back in those days, where you could read and run and look up at the sky, but now you were here.
Mito Uzumaki was your captor, a lady of high authority and wife of Hashirama Senju, founder of the leaf village. They called you 'the kyuubi no yoko' instead of your name, speaking of you as if you were a monster and leaching of your power for their own selfish reasons. This began your immense hatred for the humans you once treasured as equals.
You sat in a dark cage, watching the woman of red hair wrinkle and crumble with age and a small part of you hoped every day that she would go senile enough to look past her selfishness and let you out. You wanted to be free, to see your siblings again. How was Shukaku? He always got bullied by your other siblings for only having one tail. How was Gyuki? He was your closest brother. You howled into the infinite darkness for some sort of company, some sort of companionship.
Was that too much for a demon to ask?
You were transferred. Mito got too old and you got shoved into a little girl. Kushina Uzumaki, an annoying spitfire that only ever yelled at you. Cursing you out for every inconvenience because the new seal was so tight you could barely defend yourself against her verbal abuse. She was angry but you saw how the villagers treated her. A small part of yourself believed every insult the girl threw at you.
A larger part wishes you were extracted from her, as your hatred grew, you became uncaring to if she would survive the process. You saw Kushina grow and change, using your chakra for almost every battle. She found love, a man named Minato Namikaze, you couldn't help but admit you admired the man's skill.
As a demon sealed inside the woman, you were the first to know that she was pregnant. You knew that the boy would come to your power naturally and marked the child with whiskers of the nine tails. This boy was special, you knew, you looked on the developing form with the tiniest hint of joy. It was almost as if he was your own kit, a tiny being that you were helping to grow strong. Blonde hair and blue eyes, a boy planned to be named Naruto, you invested your whole being into watching him grow. It was all you could do to watch from the unforgiving seal, and whispering to the child.
"You will be strong one day, I'll be sure of that. If those fools were ever to seal me into you, give them hell my kit." Aspirational thinking, you knew it would be many more decades until you were resealed, in confines even tighter than your current ones, having your chakra sucked away into war and violence as people saw you as the monster. All you have done is unwillingly fuel human's own hatred.
You hated humans, all but your kit, but the child of a jinchuriki was never all human.
Your hatred festered, but your wish came true. Just as your kit had left your reach to be born, you were extracted from your seal by none other than Madara Uchiha.
You remember everything.
You remember being put under a genjutsu and destroying your home, trying your hardest to fight it for your own dignity. It was like you were sealed within yourself, you pounded on pitch black, angry to be used yet again.
But your eyes widened when you saw what that brutal Uchiha was forcing you to do.
One of your claws was forced toward your own kit, who wailed for a warmth he had yet to receive. You could feel hot tears running down your fur as you roared for control back, hoping that you could stop yourself before killing the only creature you had come to care for since your childhood.
You winced and closed your eyes as you heard the tearing of flesh and dripping of blood, the wails went silent. You dared to open your eyes and saw your own vessel and her husband standing over your kit, your claw right through both of them but completely stopped. Your eyes widened at the kindest act you've ever seen a human do. But it was ruined when you were pushed and sealed into your kit, you could see through his eyes as the life left the two people's eyes and you heard the wails of your kit.

A Nine Tailed Oneshot
FanfictionPOV where you are the nine tails, and that turns out okay. Update: Rewrite! I rewrote it and made it longer and more emotional because I didn't vibe with the first one, and I think I'm better at writing than a year and a half ago! TW for canon-typi...
