"You see anything?"

The man in the front kept his eyes on the area ahead of him, holding a spear in his hands that was sharpened to a point and ready to pierce and kill. "Nothing, but keep your eyes peeled. Bastards could be anywhere."

His Flak armor shined in the bright and powerful sun of the desolate and ruined Earth, having long fell to the might of the Titans, and now only Sanctuary remains as the final human city...which even it has fallen to ruin and disrepair. Not long after the Arks were launched, the city fell, and the creatures created through the advanced technology birthed from Element swarmed and populated.

The man's mount, a raptor named Ridley, chirped as they crossed over an open path. "Easy boy, what'd you find?"

The raptor looked down to the ground, sniffing at the footprint in the ground. It was clearly not human, but it wasn't much larger than one, which only added to the mystery.

His travel companion rode up alongside, resting comfortably on a Pachy that ate at the nearby bushes after he dismounted. "The hell? What kinda creature makes these tracks?"

"Whatever it is, I doubt it'll be friendly. Get back on Roscoe, we gotta find those kids and take 'em out before they can even think of finding help." His companion nodded and remounted their Pachy, and the two continued their search for their targets.

We once again see the footprint, and soon, a green glob of liquid fell onto it, melting into the ground in the middle of the prints. Above it, there was a figure hiding in the darkness of the ruined building, it's pale white eyes tracking the men and their creatures.

Here in the desolate Earth, the planet has become Geo-locked, and this side of the planet has permanently faced the sun. By proxy, the day is permanent, but they were starting to get sleepy anyways.

"Mate, you sure they're out this way? We've been searching for a while now..."

"They had to go somewhere..." He sighed and reigned his raptor, turning around and looking back down the path they came from. "Forget it, we'll search tomorrow and find them from the air next time."

His companion nodded and turned back, retracing their steps as they walked through the broken city. It was safer in this section of the place, but only if you stuck to the buildings, where larger creatures can't go.

The man on the raptor yawned, before rubbing his eyes. "I'm ready to hit the hay, what about you?"

...

"Isaac?" He turned around, seeing nothing and no one behind him. He looked at the ground, and his eyes widened a bit as he saw the flecks of blood leading behind them.

"Isaac!" His raptor sped along, following the trail of blood that led around several corners, almost like someone was playing with him in advance of this.

He rounded another corner, before stopping his mount completely as he came across a gruesome scene. It was Isaac and his Pachy, but there was blood everywhere, and it was obvious it came from the two of them.

Isaac had tears and gashes across his body, and the worst part was the huge chunk of his head that looked entirely cleaved through. Roscoe was better off, but still very dead with the huge gashes and the large opening in his stomach, where it looked like something ate his stomach out.

"What the...what the fuck did this?" He was scared, but he needed to figure out what the hell killed the two of them without making even a sound.

He dismounted his raptor, and went up to the bodies, studying their wounds. The gashes were deep, but they were clean ones nonetheless, leaving out his most likely suspect, that being a Thylacoleo.

Raptors aren't this clean or consecutive either, also taking out Spinos as they're far too large...

A crash sounded out behind him, and when he turned, his stomach dropped to the floor as he saw a massive...thing, holding his raptor by the neck. It stuck huge claws into Ridley's neck, blood squirting everywhere before his raptor was thrown like a rag doll, as if it weighed nothing to them.

"W-What the hell are you?! Who sent you?!" He pointed his spear at the figure, but a long tail came into view and smacked it, shattering the weapon before the figure stepped into the light.

It was a fusion between human and...something he's never seen before, but whatever it was, it was clearly meant for death and destruction. The woman bent down to his height on the ground, the tail hanging tauntingly above her.

"Who I am doesn't matter. What does...is that you are my next meal..."
