Being body shamed is very humiliating. It can lead to increased feelings of low self–esteem, self-image, and self-worth. It can have an individual socially isolate themselves, and feel lonely, leading to depression and anxiety.

But to Arabella, it was a day-to-day life receiving disgust looked whenever she was eating, insulting looked whenever she sports a sexy dress, and mocking looked when she presented an awareness of how important having a fit body is.
