Chapter 2

I'm back once again! Today things get more misperceptions (oh lol I was supposed to type 'mixed up' but then Apple autocorrected this one.. I'm keeping this.).. scratch that misperceptions word, make it mixed up. Anyway, since more characters would be introduced, it could spice up the story for once! I think this will be the start of our love story between Jace and Khyle. Hah. Cool isn't it? I'm such an awesome author. -w- Jk.

> Jace's Pov

That was one weird night, an encounter with the alpha was random. Didn't expect that. But for now, I had to focus on my studies if there are going to be sudden wolves popping up here and there, and Amber isn't updated what happened last night at all, and she was curious. " Hey Jace, tell me, or else I'm going all out on this. " Oh no. She's really going to do it.

" No, no Amber, don't freaking do it. "

" TEACHER, JANICE KEEPS ON GETTING MY PAPER, SHES SOOO MEAN AND I DONT LIKE IT, ITS CHEATING RIGHT, RIGHT?! " She said pointing at me, and it got everyone's attention, ugh, I'm used to this, ever since we became friends. But I couldn't help is now, since I know I'm a werewolf, I growled at her for a second, and she stopped and sat down to keep quiet.

" Um, is this issue over now? " The teacher said awkwardly, and we both nodded. Some ever laughed. Well, only my scary growls can stop Amber from her constant foolishness.

Later on, classes ended so fast, and this time Amber really had to go early, damn curfews. Besides, I won't be going back to the woods to go running again, since there will be clouds, the moon will be covered with them. I only came for the howling, I feel so free with just that. " You're back early, Jace. " Granny said with a smile. I smiled back and went to my room.

" Huh? " I looked out my window and felt the wind creep up my cheeks, and it felt so comfortable, path is time was really annoying, I said I would stay home, but my wolf says I should go out and run. And so my foolish self did so. " Dammit all! " I stripped and jumped down from my window to the woods and ran there until nightfall. And the moon was there, wow.

" Howling is the best! " I thought to myself, and I howled like before. Hoping that nobody else, like that alpha, would come in my way, the pull felt weird. I just lay down at the hill and looked up, moon gazing. " Being a wolf isn't bad, but that still won't change my mind about hating them. " I said as I sighed and lay my head down.

I remembered the scent of the alpha yesterday, and I smell him coming closer, he's been waiting for me I guess, or maybe he just heard my howls, dunno. " You're back, Janice Emery. " H-How...? " How did you know my name?! Are you a stalker?! " I said, surprised, of course using telepathy. " No, I have my sources. " he laughed.

" Dammit, you're going to do something to me, won't you?! " I growled and showed my fans once more, he stayed calm, " You still, didn't know what that pull meant? " he said, looking straight through me. Honestly, I really didn't know, I don't bother knowing further more about them than Amber. " I don't want to know. "

He stayed silent, then he spoke, " I'll tell you, you will know soon enough anyway. " he closed his eyes and spoke once more, with a calmer tone, " I made you my mate Janice. " What? A mate? Me? " No way.. that pull.. " he nodded, I barked at him in anger, and ran away, I jumped back into my room, and shifted back into my human form. " I'm screwed. " I gasped.

The next day, Amber was waiting for me in front of my house after I finished, and I asked her about the mates among wolves and other stuff. " What?! The alpha made you his mate?! " I nodded, " And you didn't know the pull until he told you, last night?! " I nodded once more. " Geez Jace, you're so hopeless. " she continued, " I'll tell you all about them. "

There she began, " Mates are important in all packs, especially if you're making that pack grow. The alpha makes a she-wolf he has chosen as his mate, and that she-wolf becomes the Female alpha. Mates are supposed to stay with their companions, to love and take care of each other. " she sighed, " You're supposed to be with your mate right now. Being with him in all of his duties as alpha, that's a really busy role. And an alpha needs his mate with him most of the time. "

" But- " she hushed me. " Not buts Jace, that's the rule among wolf packs. " She walked ahead, and she was holding my hand tightly as she was pulling me to school. I don't know, but this is just amazing, Amber knows a lot about wolves, and I understand, but still, why me? Aren't there other she-wolves in their pack? Why me? The loner? I hate other wolves.

Classes started and go, that's why when a wolf from their pack approached me, and gave me a sharp look. " You are a wolf, I wonder though, why is there a lone she-wolf here? Mostly it's made up of males. Rare in a way. " He said, and I kept silent with a poker face. Amber was op at the cafeteria right now, so I she can pull me out right now. " Oh yeah, sorry about my rude manners, my name is Terrence Wallows. Weird name, right? " he laughed, but I shook my head.

" I don't talk to other wolves, not to offend anyone, but I hate wolves, even though I am one. " I said looking away from him, I was nearing to growling at him but since his pack is here, they might attack me all at once at night. " I see that, judging from your expression, but you will understand soon, Jace. " he walked away, I believe he's the source of their alpha. Khan, was it?

Amber jumped out of nowhere and gave me a burger. " Eat Jacey boo. "

Soon, maybe in the future, I can update more and more, and make it longer!
I hate using this in IOS, it's just horrible. It's better in a bigger device where I can operate better.
