Dinning hall ...

In the end Ataeru managed to rally Riku and Rocky. Toshihiro and Hoshihiko also showed up "thought you could use some style in your plan" Hoshihiko grinned cheekily as she sat down.

"I-I may not be able t-t-to do much ... but I want to help too." Toshihiro announced confidently as he too sat down with the others.

"Okay Ataeru, what's your news?" Drake asked, approaching the botanist, and standing by his side (I have no idea what Ataeru has in mind, so I can only hope this is good news.)

"I shall begin with this, thank you all for coming, I'm sure that with our mights combined we could defeat the enemy." Ataeru clenched his fist and glanced around the group "to begin, I have this from Monokuma. It's a letter, there can be no doubts that he wanted me to share this with all of you" he pulled out a folded piece of paper and opened it across the table:

'To you, the botanist.

Because of your victory in the class trial, I have decided to bless you with 3 facts, 100 % true, cross my heart and despair to die, and jab ten needles through Drake's eye!'

(Uncalled for! And seriously painful too . . .)

'Fact #1 - 16 students were called to Irrambuo by the school's faculty. 2 of which are now deceased.

Fact #2 - If a class trial vote comes to a tie, then the vote is a forfeit and discussion time is extended. Unless the blackened is in a tie for first which will then result in the blackened being executed. This rule will only apply to the first vote in a trial.

Fact #3 - Although hidden, an alternative exit exists. Find it if you can.

I hope this information strikes hope and despair into your hearts. Use this information how you please.

From your unbearably loveable headmaster
Monokuma.'

"16 students . . . but there were 20 of us to begin with. It also said that 2 of the students that came here are now dead" Sainõ summarised the letter.

"14 of us are supposed to be students at Irrambuo, which begs the question, who isn't supposed to be here?" Hajiga asked the group. A moment of silence followed as the same thought passed through the students minds (. . . could 3 of us be . . . conspiring with Monokuma . . . No. Why would-)

"A-are we sure that any of these facts are r-real?" The poet spoke up from the back of the group.

"Oh most certainly" a voice chimed in from the doorway, all eyes darted towards the door to find their headmaster leaning against the door frame.

"What do you want?" Rocky asked, taking a step forward, Drake followed swiftly also wanting answers "yeah, what's with the 10 needles in the eye thing!" Drake demanded, the bear flinched and stood up straight, a small trail of sweat formed over his brow.

"Uhh, t-take it easy guys, I'm here to tell you that those facts are indeed true, don't go getting all defensive just cus I gave you something that looks and smells fishy." Monokuma sighed and turned to leave "now if I were you, I'd take those facts to heart, and get ready to see some new crap. Ataeru" the bear left after giving his parting words.

The botanist eye'd his bag and reached for it hesitantly, but Hoshihiko grabbed a hold of his messenger bag pulling it off his shoulder and placing it on the table "h-hey, be careful with that! There are some very fragile plants in there" Ataeru demanded.

Hoshihiko ignored him and quickly opened up the bag "hmmhmm, what's all this then?" Hoshihiko asked, grabbing the bag and tipping it out on the table. Rather than the expected flowers and soil to come spilling out of the bag, a few items and a small box fell onto the table "ah, I see, so these are the 'special plants' that you were protecting this whole time." Hoshihiko's eyes darted over to meet Ataerus hesitant gaze, the "well? Explain yourself" Hoshihiko's demands were followed swiftly.
