Study Date, Rei x Artistic! Reader

Hi guys! Just a note before you start reading, some parts is in Rei's POV but there will be parts that's in your POV. Okay?

-REI'S POV-

The bell rang, indicating that classes were over. I packed up my things and was about to head to the rooftop until I heard someone call out my name. I turned around to see who it was, it was my closest friend (y/n). As she was running to catch up to me, she had the most amazing expression on her face and she looked as beautiful as ever, making me fall in love with her all over again

-YOUR POV-

"Hi (y/n) -kun. Why are you calling me?" Before you answered you held up one hand to him, telling him to wait first since you were out of breath. He just chuckled and patiently waited for you to answer him. After a while you responded "I need help in my studies" "What's wrong?" He asked worriedly "Before I explain, let's go to the rooftop" He nodded at your suggestion and led the way.

Once you settled in, he asked you again "What's wrong with your studies?" "I need help with (least favorite subject). We have homework but I don't understand the lesson. Can you please help me?" He nodded his head and said "Of course I'll help you, why don't we meet up later and go to your house?" You nodded your head and smiled. As you stood up to leave you told him "Thanks Rei you're such a good friend!" So you left, in order to meet up with your friends. But you didn't hear Rei mumble "Yeah..... Friends"

-REI'S POV-

I was so excited to have my "study date" with (y/n). But what she said to me made my heart break a little bit. I mentally slapped myself "Of course she wouldn't think of us as more than friends! I didn't even ask her out. Yet"

-AFTER SCHOOL (STILL REI'S POV)-

After classes, I went to the entrance of Iwatobi High and read my textbook while patiently waiting for (y/n). A few minutes later, I heard the sound of laughter, I wouldn't mistake that laughter for anyone else's. I looked up from my book and saw that I was correct. It was (y/n), she was with her friend and she's....blushing?

-YOUR POV-

"Shut up! I don't like him!" You exclaimed. Your friend nudged you "Sure.... You've been talking about your date with him" You blushed when she said "date". "It's not a date! Besides, even if you're correct about my feelings, there's no way he'd like me back" "Of course he likes you too! Just trust me (y/n)" You nodded your head as you started to look for Rei.

"(y/n)-kun!" You turned around and saw Rei waving at you. "Come on are you ready?" You nodded your head and caught up to him so you two can walk together.

*TIME SKIP TO YOUR HOUSE (STILL YOUR POV)*

"Mum! I'm home! Rei's here to help me with homework" You called out to her as you led Rei to your room. "Oh okay, I'll go make snacks for you guys" She replied. When you entered the room you plopped on your bed and heard Rei gasp, he was amazed by your colorful yet organized room.

Your wallpaper was filled with replicas of paintings and drawings of your favorite artists. You also had your own paintings and drawings posted and a cabinet filled with tools for drawing and painting. Your desk was large because your Mac desktop was there. Rei turned to look at you and saw that you were on your bed taking a nap. He sighed and went to you and slightly shaked you so you could wake up.

"Come on (f/n), let's get to work" You groaned. "Fine, just wait I'll get my book" You responded. You slowly got up, took your book and sat down on the floor and Rei followed along. "Ok, now let's get started. Now which lesson are you having difficulty with?" He asked. "This one" You responded as you pointed at a page in your book. "Oh ok. That's easy. So this is (random explanation of the lesson of your least favorite subject)" You nodded your head as he continued to explain.

*AFTER TUTORING! YAY FINALLY!*

"Wow. That was faster than I expected. You're a good learner (f/n)" "Thanks!" You beamed with pride. He chuckled "Hey (f/n), if I recall, during first semester you had high grades" You nodded your head, indicating that he was correct "So why do you have low grades right now?" He asked. "Well, I've been working on this drawing. But I'm actually done, so I can go back to paying attention to class again" You assured him. "Can I see it?" "S-sure" You got your bag and pulled out your sketchbook and flipped to the page of your recent drawing. "Wow!" It was a drawing of the entire class and a teacher teaching in front. "You're really good!" "Thanks" You rubbed the back of your neck sheepishly. "Come on, it's getting dark, I'll lead you out" He nodded and started to gather his things.

"Thanks again Rei" "Anytime (f/n)" He was about to head out until he turned around to face you again "One more thing" "Why? Did you-" You were cut off by Rei's lips. After a few seconds, you kissed back with equal passion. He pulled away and said "I take it you like me back?" You nodded your head and he just chuckled and started to walk home. You were about to head in until you heard him call out "You're my girlfriend now right?" You turned and nodded your head with a smile, he smiled back. " That was a nice study date" You mumbled.

Hi!!!! I'm so sorry that it took me a long time to update. Sorry. I had a lot of things to do and I had a slight writer's block. Also, sorry if he's OOC in that last scene. Why do I make everyone OOC!? I'll try my best not to next time, guys. Gome *bows head*. But I just wanna say thank you for 400 READS!!!
