Adeline's pov

  I'm so nervous today is my first day at my new school in this new town great....just great. I check my phone 6:45am I groan and rub my eyes as i sit up. i look at my uniform, i let out a sigh as i slowly got out of bed and got in the shower the warm water felt so good on my tense muscles. my mind was running a mile a minute thinking of all that could happen today and obviously thinking of the worst ones. wash up humming to myself to keep me distracted from overthinking, i wash my hair brushing through it so my curls can be more defined.

i get out the shower and wrap my towel around my body still humming i walk out the bathroom and sit on my stool in front of my vanity looking at myself for a few minutes "i look good oh my god, confidence is key" i say to myself trying to hype myself up. i start to put my curly hair products in still lightly humming to myself. "addi mom said you have to eat breakfast before we leave" my younger sister said while busting in my room. "tell her i said i'm not hungry this early and thanks for knocking celeste" i say sarcastically "oh my god shut up" she rolls her eyes closing my door.

i look at the time and i get up put on my bra and underwear, looking in the mirror at myself judging my body. i snap myself out of it and put my uniform on, "i look so fucking good" i whisper. "celeste" i yell for my younger sister. "yes" she says walk into my room "somethings missing what is it" i question turning towards her so she can help me put my outfit together "ooo shear black stockings and your black mary janes the chunky ones" she says staring at herself in the mirror "hmmm maybe you're right" i say while putting my stockings on. i look at myself in the mirror in aww cause it actually looks good i quickly touch up my hair and grab my bag as i check the time and see that we are going to be late.

"celeste let's go mom will kill us if we are late" i say rushing down the stairs and grabbing my keys off the table, "okay okay i'm coming let me finish putting on my lashes" shes yelled from upstairs "hurry up" i yell from down the stairs opening the front door. i get into my car and turn it on waiting for celeste to hurry up , i plug my phone in the aux and looks through my songs "hmmm" i hum quietly to myself thinking of what song I'm going to pick i finally choose green light by lorde. finally celeste gets in the car "bruh it took you long enough" i said starting to back out the drive way "girl why are you playing this old ass song" she says putting her vape in her bag "because it's good" i say pulling off and turning it up.
