After you unpack all of your stuff kio calls from downststairs: "Kate, Callie! Dinners ready!"
You get Callie and carry her downstairs to where everyone is sitting around the table.

You: "uh hi, I'm katelyn, you can call me kate. This is callie."
Josh: "hey, I'm josh."
Griffin: "I'm-"
You: "you're griffin, I know.
He slightly blushes and you sit next to Bryce and kio
Callie: "Tio!"
Kio: "call!"
Callie: "mommy let me sit wif him!"
You: "ok but be good."
You notice griffin keeps staring at you but don't think anything of it.
You: "so how are you guys?"
Jaden: "uh good, what made you want to move here?"
You: "I didn't. My mom and I don't get along and Bryce told me I could stay here for a while."
Blake: "that's nice."
Bryce: "well she is my little sister so I do my best."
Kio: "well she's my bestfriend."
Callie: "she's my mommy!"
Kio: "yea Callie wins."
Callie: "yes!"
Griffin: "so what are you interested in?"
You: "well I worked as a personal assistant for a while.. but I really want to be a writer."
Griffin: "that sounds cool."
You: "what about you?"
Griffin: "I've always wanted to be a nurse but I dropped out of nursing school to move here."
You: "you can still be a nurse one day."
Griffin: "yea but I'm not really worried about it right now."
You: "ok I'm sorry but why are we eating on plastic plates?"
Griffin: "your brother broke all the dishes for a YouTube video."
You: "seriously Bryce?"
Bryce: "sorry it just kinda happened."
Blake: "after you put princess to bed we should play a drinking game."
Bryce: "no, my little sister is not getting drunk in a house full of boys."
You: "come on Bryce, it'll be fun."
Bryce: "no Kate."
You: "fine then."
Griffin: "I can keep you company if you want."
You: "I'll text you after I get cal to bed."
Griffin: "ok then"

You all finish dinner and you head upstairs with Callie and kio.

Kio: "hey, don't do anything with griffin please."
You: " I didn't plan to but ok"
Kio: "I'm serious, I think he likes you."
You: "I've learned my lesson with tiktok boys. I promise."
Kio: "speaking of.."
You: "no, he's not seeing Callie."
Kio: "she's his daughter Kate."
You: "it will have to be a cold day in hell before I let him go anywhere near her."
Kio: "have you told Bryce?"
You: "no. It happened, it's over."
Kio: "just please think about telling him."
You: "I will."

You lied and kio could tell but didn't say anything.

Callie: "I sweepy mama."
You: "ok, lay down and I'll read you a book."
Kio: "I'll be downstairs."
Callie: "night Tio!"
Kio: "goodnight cal."

You read her a book and quietly leave the room, heading downstairs when you hear a voice that makes you stop in your tracks.

Nate: "so man, how's Kate?"
Bryce: "she's fine, actually-
You: "why is he here?!"
Griffin: "he's one of our friends."
You: "kio, Bryce."

They both follow you upstairs to bryces room where you break down and tell Bryce everything.

You: "I lied to you. Nate and I didn't end on good terms. He forced me to do things with him and left when he found out I was pregnant. I guess he just thinks I didn't keep the baby."
Bryce: "why didn't you tell me sooner?"
You: "because he scares me Bryce. You haven't seen him the way I had to."

Kio pulls you into a hug and Bryce storms downstairs.. not long after you hear a huge crash and run downstairs.

You: "BRYCE!"

He has Nate pinned against the wall, with Nate struggling to breathe under his hand.

Bryce: "when we're you gonna tell me about what you did to my sister?!"
Nate: "I'm sorry man, I've changed. I promise."
Bryce: "I don't believe you."
You: "please let him go."
Bryce: "really? After everything he's done to you your still sticking up for him?!"
You: "please don't yell, callies asleep."
Nate: "Callie?"
Bryce: "none of your business!"
Nate: "I'm sorry, I really have changed."

Bryce let's go and pushes Nate towards the door
You: "I'm gonna be upstairs."

*you run upstairs to your room*
