Chapter 18

"Kai" I poked his arm as we sat on the bed after finishing watching a movie.

"Yes?"

"I want to go shopping. Pretty please." I asked making a puppy dog face.

"Okay-" he started but stopped when I squealed.

"I understand that you don't like to be trapped in this place and want to go out, but I am coming with you. It's just that-" he hesitated.

"You still don't trust me enough to go out on my own?" I completed for him. He nodded.

"I understand." I held his face in my hands. "But I promise that I won't leave you. Ever." I placed my lips on his. The kiss was soft unlike the other rough and lustful ones.

"Come on you slowpoke. Get your ass down here." I shouted as I waited for Kai to come so that we could go shopping.

"Coming." he shouted and I heard his footsteps running down the stairs. He was wearing a blue t-shirt with black jeans. I don't even know how he managed to look  so hot in such a simple outfit.

"Let's go." he entwined his hands in mine. "So, where are we going?" he asked.

"To the mall of course." I said. There was this store called 'The Pavillion' where Jamie and I loved to go shopping every now and then. It would be nice to take Kai there.

"So have you been to a mall before?" I asked him curiously.

"Yes. Of course." he said in a duh way.

"Oh. 'Cause I saw in movies that the mafia people don't ever enjoy their lives." I said innocently.

"It's nothing like that." he said. His hand automatically went around my waist, pulling me close to him when we entered the mall. I smiled. My possessive boyfriend.

"Kai come on, let's go to that store." I pulled his arm and dragged him towards The Pavillion. He was holding the shopping bags. We had bought a lot of stuff for the both of us.

"It's been so long since I last came here. I used to come here all the time when I was in school with my friends and most of the times with Jamie." I told him as we entered the store.

"Oh. Hey Rose, look there. I want to buy you one of those." he pulled me towards the jewellery section. There was gold and platinum jewellery too.

"No Kai I don't-" I started but he cut me off.

"Can't I buy something for my beautiful girlfriend?" he asked, holding my chin.

"Yes, you can but I think gold and platinum is too much. "

"Come on Rose, I am a fucking billionaire. I can buy anything." He pulled me towards the counter. Well, that was true.

"How about this one?" he pointed towards a necklace with a pearl in the centre and some floral designs around it.

I cleared my throat loudly to catch the attention of the sales girl who was apparently too busy gawking at my boyfriend.

"Oh yeah." She handed the necklace Kai had suggested earlier for me to try on.

"Nah, looks too big on you." Kai said after I tried it on.

"Yeah." I removed it and gave it to the girl but again, she was distracted by Kai.

"Can you please fucking stop staring at my boyfriend and help us with the necklace?" I asked. I must have sounded so jealous. But I was not jealous. I just wanted to buy the necklace. I glanced at Kai to see him smirking at me.

"Shut up." I slapped his arm playfully.

"Hey how about this one?" Kai asked pointing towards a heart shaped rose gold pendant with diamonds. It was so nice.

I added the pendant in my locket to see how it looked. It looked beautiful and went really well with the 'Rose' pendant. I turned to Kai and raised my eyebrows asking him what he thought.

"Perfect." He smiled.

I tried on a floral top and opened the door for Kai to see.

"How does it look?" I asked Kai.

"Anything looks perfect on you." He said and I smiled.

"Hey Rose!" someone hugged me, giving me a heart attack for a second.

I let out a sigh of relief as I pulled out to see that the someone was Jamie.

"Hey Jamie." I was surprised and happy that I got to meet her.

"Look at you girl! You look so relaxed and happy." She said with a huge smile on her face. "I haven't met you since so long. Where have you been lately? And how was the move to your new apartment?" she asked.

"Calm down Jamie." I said. "I haven't moved in to my apartment. I moved in with my boyfriend instead." I said, turning my head to Kai and carefully choosing my words.

"Rose! You moved in with your boyfriend and didn't even tell me a thing?" she shook her head disappointed with me. But I knew she was faking. Actually, I could tell she was really happy with me having a boyfriend.

"Hi dear!" Jamie turned to Kai.

"Hi mam." Kai took Jamie's hand and placed a kiss on it.

"Oh come on, you can call me Jamie." she said.

"You have got a really nice boyfriend, Rose. And he is hot too." she winked.

"Jamie!" I scolded her.

"Okay bye. See you later Rose." she went away.

"I like your aunt. She is cool." Kai turned to me.

"Yeah she is fun to be around." I agreed. "So can we have dinner on our way back home?"

"Okay. What do you want to eat?" he asked.

"Umm. A pizza." I suggested.

"Let's go." 

"Mmm. I love pizzas." I moaned as I ate the pizza.

"Me too." Kai licked his lower lip. It was so hot. When he noticed me looking at him, he did that again. It was such a turn on for me.

"W- What are you doing, Kai?" I stuttered which made him smirk. Ugh. Why did I stutter?

"Oh nothing. Just getting my revenge for the few of the many times you have done that to me." he said flirtily. 

How could he manage to be so adorable and hot at the same time?

I had to admit, I was falling for this man. Hard.
