Jirou stirred, peeking open her eyes to find herself in unfamiliar surroundings from that of which she usually woke up to. A TV, couches, a coffee table- holy shit am I in the studio still?!

She glanced around, noticing a remote lying on one arm rest and the blonde idiot curled up next to her, sound asleep. He was snoring gently, a look so peaceful on his face that she almost changed her mind about waking him up.

"Rise and shine you dork," Jirou said loudly, giving him a gentle shove.

"Huh?" Kaminari grumbled, peeking open one tired eye. "Good morning." He propped himself up with his arms, glancing around. "Oh, did we fall asleep here sometime during the movie?"

She nodded, yawning before getting off the couch, right at the same time he tried to get up. Before they could register, the two ended up tumbling back onto the couch, with Kaminari accidentally falling on top of her.

"Ah! S-Sorry," He mumbled in embarrassment, his face flushing a light shade of red.

"N-No, it's ok-" She stammered back, her heart pounding against her ribcage.

They were so close. Their distance, their proximity, their lips...

Ever so gently, the two began to lean in. The sound of their breathing could be heard through the still, silent studio room. It was just the two of them.

Seconds ticked by slowly- slower than they could possibly imagine as their lips inched closer...and closer...and...

Slam!

Gasping, Kaminari jerked away and whirled his head around, glancing at the door in panic. Footsteps echoed through the hallway, signaling the arrival of a third person. Jirou hurriedly shoved the blonde off of her, sitting upright and facing the door.

"Ow!" He whisper-yelled, rubbing his arm.

The footsteps got louder and the second door creaked open, spiky red hair popping through the doorway. Kirishima looked surprised to see them. "Oh hey! What are you two doing here?" He asked, raising his eyebrows in curiosity.

"Well, we-"

"Fell asleep while watching a movie," Jirou said quickly, sneaking a glance at the blonde on the floor.

The redhead gave a bright, cheerful smile. "Well, hope the movie was good! I'm just here to grab some stuff," He said, walking over to a cabinet and opening it, sliding out a black folder.

The two watched the man in utter silence, their eyes trailing on his figure heading back towards the door.

"See ya!" He called with a wave, closing the studio door behind him, his footsteps getting quieter as they echoed down the hall.

As soon as the slam of the outer door could be heard, the lock clicking in place, Kaminari let out a deep breath. "Did you really have to push me off?" He grumbled, scowling slightly.

"Yep," Jirou replied with a light shrug, yawning. "Otherwise he might have gotten the wrong idea and thought there was something going on between us-"

"Us?" Kaminari asked, interrupting her sentence.

Then the realization of what she had just said hit her. She shook her head quickly, "N-Not that t-there is anything going on between us!" Jirou squealed, along with a failed attempt at hiding the blush that had crossed her face.

"R-Right," The blonde stammered with a nod, looking away.

---

Jirou buried her face into a pillow, letting out a loud groan of frustration.

After the...incident in the studio, she had called Yaoyorozu and asked if she could come over. She'd agreed and had driven there to pick her up. Now, Jirou was flopped face-down on her best friend's bed, face stuck in a pillow as she ranted about him.

Yaoyorozu gave an empathetic look, patting her head with one hand. She set a tray of cookies and tea down on the nightstand before sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Breaking the rules for love...is it worth it?" Jirou mumbled into the pillow, exhaling with a sigh.

"Hmm," Yaoyorozu murmured, thinking for a moment. "It depends. How much do you want to be with him?"

"I-I don't know," She said in honesty, rolling around so her eyes faced the fancy bed's canopy. "I never really thought about that in-depth, but I do want to be with him. A lot. He just makes me so happy and- aaaah..." She squealed softly, burying her face back into the pillow.

"Aww," Yaoyorozu said, smiling. I approve of them, she thought. She saw the way the two of them got along, and the looks he gave her. It was obvious the two of them were in love. And they were perfect for each other.

"Yaomomo," Came Jirou's muffled voice from the pillow again.

"Yes?"

"But...is it worth it?" She needed to know- was it worth breaking the contract to date him, if he even felt the same way. What if it was just...one sided?

"Well, how much do you want to risk?" Yaoyorozu asked.

That particular thought had occurred to Jirou before, but she'd never really taken time to think it through. She had just recently realized her feelings for Kaminari, but with the uncertainty of whether or not he felt the same way, she hadn't thought about if he did.

What would go from there? Would they start dating and become official, or would they just cast aside the feelings they had and forget them completely?

"I don't know that either," Jirou whispered, propping herself up using her elbows and staring down at the pillow. "All my past relationships didn't work out, and I don't even know if he feels the same way. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself."

"Don't say that," Yaoyorozu replied, "Have you seen the way he looks at you?"

"N-No, not really," She murmured quietly. "But what if he does feel the same way- then what? Would we just straight up break the rules for the sake of a relationship? One that might not even work out?"

Yaoyorozu frowned. "The consequences for breaking the contract would determine that, but the problem here is that we don't know what would happen."

"Would I get kicked out of the band?" Jirou whispered in a quieter tone, visible worry in her voice.

"No, I highly doubt that," She replied in a reassuring way, trying to comfort her friend. "Try not to overthink it. I'm sure you wouldn't get kicked out of the band for that, you're our lead singer and one of the most talented people we know."

"Yeah- I might be overthinking way too much," Jirou replied with a small, light chuckle, "The contract rules don't seem all that serious anyway. The worst punishment would probably be a yelling session from Bakugou."

"See, it's not so bad right? Don't stress too much about it," Yaoyorozu said comfortingly, pouring a cup of tea and handing it to her. "Here, this tea will calm your nerves," She said.

"Thanks Yaomomo," Jirou said gratefully, taking a sip from the cup. Until she knew what she wanted to do for certain, she'd keep her feelings for Kaminari a secret. Or maybe...she could just wait for those feelings to go away.

But, a little voice in her head reminded her don't do something you'll regret.
