Seulgi's POV
===
There's always that one person that will always have your heart. You'll never see it coming cause you're blinded from the start. Know that you're that one for me, it's clear for everyone to see. Ooh baby~ You will always be my boo. 🎵
Is that music I hear? Though sleepy, I squinted my eyes towards the music while barely moving my head on the pillow.
I don't know 'bout y'all but I know about us and uh it's the only way we know how to rock. I don't know 'bout y'all but I know about us and uh it's the only way we know how to rock. 🎵
Ah~ That's the only time I moved my torso. At least the music's good. I'd choose to wake up from good music than the alarm anytime. I moved around and did some stretching before I decided to get out of bed. I already know the drill. Every weekend, our neighbor has this habit of playing music loud enough to wake 3-5 houses near them. We didn't mind it because most of us moved in here way later than them. Besides, they're good people with taste in music.
Knock! Knock!
"Seulgi? Are you up?" Mom asked.
"Yeah, Mom. Just got up, I'm getting ready." I said while fixing my bed. It's Sunday so I don't really have things to do. Maybe water some plants or work on my drawings later. When it comes to schoolwork, I usually do them right after class or on a Saturday morning just to make sure I don't cram, and get to enjoy one whole free day in a week. I looked one last time in my room just to make sure everything's in its place, then walked towards the door. I can already smell what our breakfast would be.
Sunny side-up egg, Soybean paste stew, and Spam. What a great morning indeed!
"It's good that you're up early, I have to go to school. I'll leave the kimchi in your hands. Distribute them well to our neighbors." Mom looks like she's in a hurry. She didn't even see me pout at her.
"What time are you coming home?" I said while chewing some Spam.
"Stop talking when your mouth is full." That's the only time she looked at me.
"Fine. I'll bring it sometime after lunch."
"You mean before dinner? I sighed. Mom knows best. No, you are not. No one's here to look after you so I already told Miyoung you're coming over to their house."
"What? I thought they went backpacking?" I slurped some stew.
"They went back early. Taeyong didn't mention?" I was about to say something when her phone suddenly rang. She hurriedly picked up the phone and wore her bag on her shoulders.
Oh well, another busy day. I sighed at the thought of that. I just want to lounge the whole day in my room doing whatever.
"...next week. Thank you so much! See you later!" She sighed after ending the call. "I need to go now. I'll call you when I'm on my way home. Be a good girl and help Miyoung with whatever she needs, okay?" I just nodded because my mouth was full. She smiled and then went straight to the door.
Wooh! I devoured my food and then washed the dishes. My inner gut tells me to listen to music first before I take a bath, but just as when I was about to head to the living room, I noticed some Tupperware on the top of the table. I didn't mind it at first and thought of them as spares. Unfortunately, I did a double look and that's when I realized I'll do everything from scratch.
