Chapter Six: Where the party is official

I tried to convince Jennifer and Ryan to go on the double date but they both refused. Ryan saying that he had football practice while Jennifer said that she doesn't have a boyfriend or lover. Which of course I knew wasn't true because she was sleeping with my boyfriend. Suddenly I saw Jennifer freeze and Ryan glare at something behind me, I turned around and saw Derrick "Derrick!" I said and got up to hug him "Go with it Ryan gets pissed when I'm around you" I whispered in his ear which made him wrap his arms around me

"Ummm Mia?" Jennifer said which made me roll my eyes and turn around with a fake smile

"Yes?" I asked and she pointed at Ryan that was started daggers at the arm Derrick had around me

"Oh" I said and took his arm off "What are you doing here Derrick?" I asked

"I wanted to talk to you alone" He said I was about to reply but Ryan beat me to it

"No. You can talk to her here" Ryan said through gritted teeth

"I can't it's about the thing" Derrick said emphasizing 'the thing'

My mouth formed O which made Derrick smirk and say "Not now sweetheart. You know we both enjoy when yo-" before he could finish that sentence I put my hand over his mouth and said "I'll be right back" and rushing out of the cafeteria with him

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked

"What are we going to do with the pictures?"

"I don't know yet... Oh! I forgot. Can you help me with something? And shouldn't you be with your friends?"

"It depends what you want me to help you with, yes but it was Jeremy who wanted to know what you were planning to do"

"Don't you find it weird that we just started talking yesterday and we're acting like we've been friends forever?"

Derrick stayed quiet for a while and replied with "Not really" then shrugged

"Oh okay, I wanted to ask you if you can help me through a party? I mean you and your group of 'delinquents' have thrown parties before... big parties..." Derrick stayed quiet for what seemed like forever then I continued by saying "Please Derrick? Please? I'll... do your homework for a week?"

"Okay"

"Really!?"

"Yeah sure why not it will b-" He didn't have the time to finish because I jumped on him and started giving him kisses all around his face and kept saying 'Thank you' really fast

"No problem" He said while chuckling
