Something Smells Like it's Burning

The small boat had landed at the dock and everybody was getting off of the boat. All Shlead saw was woods and a path, this couldn't be bricklandia right? There weren't even any buildings, as soon as Shlead had that thought the captain said "Just walk through the forest on the path until you reach the wall, then get out your passport and get in line. Make sure theres no smudges or smears because it might be called fake, and if they think that then you are doomed". Shlead was confused, he thought this place was meant to be peaceful and understanding, maybe the security was tighter so that no people with bad intentions could get in and ruin the place.

The captain went back on the boat and sailed away. All the passengers started walking down the path including Shlead and Mawt. Shlead has a keen nose and smelled some smoke, it was coming from the way they were going. They kept walking along the path and in the distance there was a small hut with no door, intrigued, Shlead walked over and looked inside. A man with a purple shirt was standing over a cauldron and saw him putting a caterpillar inside of it, then putting the liquid in a potion and drank it. He ran back to the group in shock and disgust, he made it to the path but nobody was in sight. Shlead ran along the path to catch up with the group, assuming they were ahead of him. 

Once he caught to the group Mawt asked him "Where did you go dude, if you didn't come back I would've had to come looking for you, you worry me too much." "Well I uh, you see uh, I saw a coin on the ground, I just had to go pick it up, its free money." Shlead said lying through his teeth. Mawt replied, "I know when your lying, you suck at it, but you usually don't lie so I'm not gonna push you about it, I'm just glad your safe". They kept walking along the path and the smell of smoke kept getting stronger, everyone else in the group started smelling it too. Shlead asked Mawt to wait for him just for a second and Mawt said yes regretfully. Shlead climbed up a tree and looked ahead, he saw a fire and smoke coming from a group of buildings and the front of the path!

Shlead climbed down the tree and ran to Mawt, "We have to warn the others, the front of the forest as well as the city is burning in flames!" Mawt said, "You joke a lot but this time it isn't really that funny, cmon, lets catch up with the group". "I'm serious!", exclaimed Shlead, why wouldn't Mawt believe him. Mawt finally listened somewhat and said, "I doubt your not joking, but let's go tell the group just in case". Shlead didn't get why Mawt wouldn't believe him fully, but at least they were going to go tell the group. Mawt and Shlead ran across the path but they didn't run into the group, instead, they ran into a group of people with red shirts and they had matches. Mawt and Shlead hid behind a tree and looked over, it was the same group of people who he had seen on the other boat, the red shirt people's swords at the ready.

"See, I told you", said Shlead. "Now isn't really the time to be saying I told you so now is it". Mawt and Shlead looked around seeing if there was any way they could get out without being spotted by them. Then, a person in a white shirt came over to fight the red shirt people, the red shirt people were distracted, now was their chance! They ran into the forest, no longer following the path for it would be too obvious. They ran for 8 minutes before taking a break behind a couple of large oak trees. "Close one eh", said Shlead, panting. "Yeah, we almost could've died there" Mawt said sweating bullets. They were finally safe at last, that is what they had hoped at least.
