𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏 to the sensation of being watched, the night before was a blur for the most part. She remembered the amount of affection she felt last night, it was different though. She turned in bed to a dark brown with a tiny tint of orange, haired boy staring at her with a crooked smile that reached all the way to the back of his ear, that she loved.

Vincent Hacker. He preferred people call him Vinnie instead, he hated it when people called him by his first name. She preferred to call him just Hacker, by his last name. Vinnie touched Emily's cheek, with his long fingers.  His touch felt cold and icy. That's when she remembered the night before. The series of his left hand on her neck and his free hand in her hair with their lips smashed together, moving at a symbolic pace, both shirtless. "What're you staring at, love?" he said in a sarcastic, and rather rude tone, and that wasn't rare with Vinnie "nothing." She said tonelessly, as Vinnie got up to put on his clothes, "Vinnie, we've got to stop doing this." the way she said it sounded muffled because once again her hands were in her face, embarrassed again. He looked at her dumbfounded, "Doing what, exactly?" he said in a cold tone as he buckled his black Nordstrom belt over his dark blue jeans and white Calvin Klien briefs.

"Don't act stupid, Hacker. These affairs, stupid affairs, have been going on for too long, we were friends before and it was perfectly fine," she said that knowing that they weren't even dating, and were still "friends". Every time Emily said the words friends, it hurt Vinnie, and she didn't understand why. He glared at her, then leaned down on the bed, and glared at her again. She looked at his muscles bulging out of his white muscle tee and then met back up with his eyes. Her heart was racing and her palms were sweating for no reason. She had no feelings for Hacker. But who wouldn't get starstruck when being even within 4ft of Vinnie Hacker.  He did that same crooked smile she loved, then opened his mouth exposing all his perfect, glittery teeth, that shined when sunlight met up with them and said, "friends, but with benefits."

That was the thing about Vinnie, he doesn't take no for an answer. That's the reason this whole affair started. Emily remembered the first time Vinnie had kissed her. It wasn't supposed to happen, and at the same time, it was supposed to happen. "Em, are you sure we should do this?" she recalled Vinnie saying, "no not at all," he shut her up and stopped listening, he smashed his cold, hard lips onto hers, and the rest was a blur.

Emily hates herself for leaving her apartment that night and ending up in Vinnie's bedroom. She hates herself for even meeting Vinnie Hacker in the first place on July 4th, 2018. She wanted to stay as friends. She had no feelings whatsoever, and he hadn't either, or so she thought. That's where they had messed up. But Vinnie liked it, he liked living the double life and getting love and affection. He was selfish. And so was she. They were both so very selfish. Emily has dated a few guys here and there, but none of them had given her the feeling like Vinnie had when they touched, it was light a match was light.

Vinnie wasn't much of an emotional guy, to be completely honest, he wasn't emotional at all. He always had a cold tone, and his skin was icy and hard. That's when Emily came into the picture, making Vinnie come out of his shell. You see, before meeting Emily, he was in a bad state of mind. In early July, Vinnie had started becoming famous on social media. He couldn't handle the pressure, the pressure of all these girls liking him for his looks, all the guys bringing themselves down because of him, all the guys hating on him for being attractive. When Emily came, his problems disappeared, and when she left his problems came crawling back. She was like his alcohol. Even more, his drug, his heroin. Much more addicting though. He knew Emily had no feelings for him, she was quite more fond of his friend Aaron Hull. But still, he couldn't hide his feelings for much longer. The truth was, the word "no" coming from Emily Nicol's mouth hurt Vinnie, because, after all, he loved Emily uncontrollably and unconditionally.
