Layla snoozes the 5 A.M alarm and sighs. "Day one". It's her first day at Seattle Grace hospital. She gets ready for work. Dark blue scrubs. She gets a small breakfast burrito on the way to the hospital. When she walks in she is first greeted by Dr. Webber. "Hey! You must be our new resident! Dr.grey, i see?" He smiles and shakes my hand. "Yes! Layla grey. I'm sure you know Meredith" I say. He pauses. "Are you a sister? Ellis Grey?" He said like it's a normal thing. I got confused. How would he know. "Yes actually. Ellis and Thatcher. how did you-" He didn't let her finish. "I'm very close with Meredith. She's like my daughter. She's had 2 Other sisters appear out of no where. Glad to see intelligence runs in the family though." They both laugh. "Dr. Grey is in surgery for a few more hours." He looks around. "Dr, Pierce, are you busy?" She comes over. "Hey! No my surgery got postponed. what's up?" She was very beautiful her hair in a bun. She had a huge welcoming smile. "This is Dr.Layla Grey. She needs a tour guide." She looks at him, then at Layla. "Grey?" She asked. "yes." Dr.Webber reassured. "So that means." she paused. "We're sisters i'm going to guess." Layla said. Maggie looked at her. To suprise, she gave her a hug. "Okay. Let's start looking around shall we?" She said. Maggie and Layla are going around the hospital. "Where did you work before Grey-Sloan?" Maggie asked. "I worked in New York before here. Husband and i got a divorce. So i left and wanted to start over. So i thought best way to do that is to meet some new family too. though I was only expecting one sister." Layla said. Maggie laughs. "Actually, you have or had two more. There's me, Mer, Ameilia which is n it related by blood but she's as close to family as it gets. She was Derek's sister." Maggie explained. I remember derek. Shepherd. How could you not. They were married. I know that. "There was also lexie." Maggie paused. "Was?" Layla said. "Yes. They were in a plane crash." maggie continues. "Mer, Derek, Arizona, Lexie, and Mark. Lexie was From Thatchers side. She was great from what i heard. I wish i got to meet her honestly. She had a photographic memory. So beautiful too. From what i heard she died with the love of her life by her side, Mark. He passed away a few days later from damage." Maggie looks upset. Layla grabs her hand. "I'm so sorry." She says. Maggie smiles. They walk away to the lounge. "Dr. Grey should be out in a couple minutes.
