In 1853, there was once a guy named Richard Ernest who opened up the Ernest Mental Institution, the first of it's kind in Birchol. When he was young his older brother was taken away due to his chronical illness, and shortly after, his parents died. So in memory of his brother,  he created the institution I'm memory of him.

Everytime a patient registers a new file,  he would always read them one by one, memorizing each detail. He would always be interested in one by the 27th of March,  whether by their looks or their illness. He would invite them over for diner at his office,  and let them sleep in his bed.

On the 26th of March,  a new patient came in,  Olivia Harbor, a former highschool student.  Richard fell interested in her,  and decided to invite her to diner. They talked for hours on end,  and Olivia fell in love with Richard.

By 2am,  Olivia was already passed asleep in Richard's bed, Richard saw that she was hugging one of the various stuffed toys he would stitche up, a purple raccoon. Richard picked up Olivia,  without waking her up,  and took her outside by the garden lake. He then got a strange vile of liquid,  cyanide,  and he started pouring it onto Olivia's mouth,  making her swallow it. He then pulled out a pocket knife, gently hovering it over her throat,  then slicing it open,  blood gushing out in trails.

Every year, on the day Richard opened the institution,  he would kill his interests and dispose of them swiftly,  and on their death spots,  he would lay a single daffodil, hoping that they will be rebirthed without sickness.

As Richard returned to his office,  he stopped by a storage door. Opening it, greeting his true interest,  his brother. Trying to cure him, Richard started to strip bits and pieces of his brain. By the time dawn drew, the police arrived at the Ernest Mental Institution, forcing close the establishment.

Richard now saw his plan come to fruition,  stripping off one last slice of his life before leaving. Richard knew he would be arrested as soon as the police find him,  so a disguise must come to play.  As Richard walked towards the exit,  the receptionist stopped him. "Ahh Edward Ernest,  have you seen your brother? The police would like to speak to him." Richard froze, but then spoke calmly,  "No,  I haven't seen him anywhere,  I have been looking for him myself aswell. " Richard said with a slight grin,  and proceeded to leave the institution, getting ready for his transfer.
