'What a pain...'

Piercing dull blue eyes narrow briefly, quietly analyzing the flames torches that were just around the stage, completely ignoring the words from her instructor, Shadis, who helped them trained. 'Scout Regimen my ass...I didn't ask to go through this...' She narrows, almost scoffing but she refused to show her true emotions.

She, along with 9 other scouts was aligned in the very front of the rest of the scouts. Apparently, she ranked top of her class, excelling in combat training and skill in the 3d maneuvering gear. No doubt she was an elite among them all.

'I just want to get out of here...' She grumbled, trying to fight back a yawn. She knew well if she did, she would get in huge trouble. She merely glanced at the stage once again, seeing that Shadis was long gone and another older and bald man came into view. She glanced down at his attire, noticing the thorn roses, indicating that he was perhaps the commander of The Garrison group, the said military branch that guarded the walls.

'Garrison huh? Must be nice...' She thought since all they do is patrol the area, 'Survey Corps sounds like a pain in the ass...'

She fought another urge to yawn, biting her cheek before looking away from the Commander. She then glanced over where the rest of 9 trainees stood beside her, seeing the way their eyes waver, probably anxious and nervous. She sweats when she saw the way they proudly saluted their superiors with much pride. She mentally rolled her eyes at this. Her salute wasn't sloppy, but at the same time, it wasn't prideful compared to theirs.

She could only sigh, 'Let's get this over with---'

She pauses on her thoughts, but she didn't look up at the stage. 'Looks like that's my cue...I wonder what kind of sugar-coated words he'll use...'

She was well aware of the harsh reality of the Survey Corps, they were in charge of surveying outside the walls and are the only human beings who actually have contact with the titans. The same beings that somewhat broke into the walls that protected the humans from the man-eating monsters. You deem crazy for joining that suicidal group.

"I'm up here to invite you to become part of the Survey Corps. But as I should warn you, there is no doubt in my mind that joining our side will only bring you despair, especially after what happened with Wall Maria. That is the harsh reality we live in this world...Death is inevitable,"
