 3rd person POV

A blonde haired boy no older than 4 was running away. Running away from a mob trying kill him. They're trying to kill him because they are grieving for their parents, loved ones, and children's lives. Why take out on him? He is just a kid! You may ask. Then let's go back in time to see why. 

 Flashback 4 years ago 

The nine tails is attacking the village with a masked man hidden behind it's left ear to not be noticed. Thousands of lives were already lost. Shinobi, parents, children, with many destroyed buildings. The fourth hokage, Minato Namikaze was freaking out on what to do. Until..."Kushina" getting his wife's attention.

"I'm going to seal it and use it."

"WHAT!?"

"Its the only way"

"EVEN IF YOU ARE REALLY GOING TO DO IT, WE HAVE NO ONE TO SEAL IT TO!"

"I'll do it" a new voice said

"Lord Third!?" Minato and Kushina said shocked.

"I lived long enough, I think it's a good way to go. But you on the other hand, have a long way to go. You still have to raise your children" he said pointing at the triplets

"I understand." Minato said knowing he cannot stop him.

"Seal the chakra to Menma and Mito, and the soul to Naruto" Minato said Hiruzen nodded and headed out with Minato and Kushina tailing behind him and stopped at the foot of the nine tails. 

As he was about to seal it, he stopped and said: "Make sure they will be hailed hero for this tailed beast is within them. "He did the seal. The chakra to Menma and Mito, and the soul to Naruto. 

End Flashback

Naruto stopped as he reached a dead end. 'oh no' he thought as the villagers caught up to him. He screamed for help

For them to stop

Again

And again

And again

Until he blacked out. 

3rd Person POV

"Ugh...where am I?" He looked around "A sewer? I am going to be slapped by kaa-san again because I'm dirty"

"That is what you are thinking about!? Not the big cage behind you!?" A new voice said

"Woahh! A tailed beast!"

"You are not afraid!? I am the nine tails for kami's sake! I almost destroyed your village!!" The beast said

"Why would I be? Your eyes are full of sadness, loneliness, and regret. You don't seem to be a beast that wants to destroy." Naruto said

'well I'll be. This kid is the nicest human I've met! And how wise of him to know how i feel just by looking at my eyes.' the beast thought

"What's your name? Mine is Naruto. I don't like my last name so you don't need to know."

"My name? Haven't heard that question in centuries! Well, to answer your question it's Kurama." 

"Ohhh ok but why are you in a cage? What is that in the middle of it? Will you be my friend? Also how do I get out of here?" I asked as he was confused and curious.

"I am in a cage because I was sealed here, that in the middle is the seal." As soon as he said the last word he saw Naruto climbing up to the middle of the cage with his arms and legs.

"What are you doing?" He asked but was ignored. So he waited.

When Naruto got to the middle of the cage, he ripped the seal shocking Kurama

"You truly are an interesting kit. You already trust me that much? I'll be your friend but in one condition"

"What is it?" He said impatiently as he was excited to have his very first friend!

"I will train you to become strong seeing as you are just getting beaten by those other filthy humans" he noticed the boy crying "EH!!?? WHY ARE YOU CRYING?! DID I SAY SOMETHING WRONG!?" 

"No, you are just the first person to do such nice things to me" Naruto let out still crying

"Come here to my tail you can cry there" he immediately ran to Kurama's tail and hugged it until he stopped crying, but then he noticed his hand slowly disappearing. "KURAMA!! WHY AM I DISAPPEARING!?"

"Calm down you are just simply waking up as you are in your mind"

"Can I still talk to you?"

"Yes, but think what will you say to me so that other people won't misunderstand you"

"Hai! Kurama!" Naruto said as I fully disappeared out of my mind

Naruto POV

'still in the alleyway huh? sigh I'm gonna go "home"'

I got "home" and I am at the doorstep

I knock and when the door opens I met "kaa-san's" fist in my face

"WHERE WERE YOU?!"

"I was playing and didn't notice the time. Sorry kaa-san" I lied knowing she would slap me again because she won't believe me.

"Whatever, Just don't expect dinner. Now GO UP TO YOUR ROOM"

I ran as fast as I could to my "room" the attic. I close my door and put bandages in my wounds 'phew, good thing I learned this in the past' 'Ne, Kurama when will I start training? I want to be a ninja Immediately'

"Tomorrow. Don't expect me to baby you! this training will be hard so you can be a great shinobi"

'HAI!' I said filled with happiness

"Go to sleep, because you have a long day tomorrow"

This was the first night I slept with a smile on my face
