I guess the clue is in the name. I don't know where to begin my supposedly epic story of my extremely dull life.
I guess I could start when I met the funniest ginger boy I could ever imagine. His name was Josh, (well still is josh) but I liked to call him Joshy, he was tall and slim but not lanky and had the sweetest smile. He was in almost all of my classes and we instantly clicked, he knew when not to talk and when not to stop. He could make me laugh when I wanted to cry and could confuse the hell out of my brain. He was an idiot, but he was MY idiot. After nearly a year of being really close friends and spending all our time together and sharing skittles almost every day he asked me out. I remember the day so clearly.
Skye was sleeping over mine (Skye was my best friend by the way) as per usual. It was Saturday 13th July and Skye and I were sat on my bedroom floor watching The Notebook on my computer. We kept pausing it as she couldn't stop crying and laughing. And almost on cue my phone buzzed telling me that I had a text from Joshy, he had a special alert tone so I knew it was him. We texted for a while. All the while me and Skye were attempting to watch the film we had put on over 2 hours before hand and we were just about half way through. Suddenly I got a text from Josh and he was asking me out. I remember telling Skye and not knowing what to do. She asked if I liked him and I said "yes" so she said well then that's your answer then isn't it. So I said yes. We kept it to ourselves, and Skye of course, for about a week or so until everyone found out on the last day of school. We went to the beach and we were that cute happy couple who just sat and talked and held hands like 24/7 even tho our hands would get all clammy and sweaty, we didn't care because we had each other and back then that's all that mattered.
After going out for a few weeks I had to go away. I was going on vacation with my shitty family to Florida so josh saw me the day before I went away and we Skyped the whole time I was there. I got back 3 weeks later and he was waiting at my door step. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. My boy was sitting there with a bar of chocolate on my doorstep ready for me, at 6:32am. I remember just running as fast as my feet could take me to him standing 4 ft away... he was the best thing that could have ever happened to me and I wanted him to be the one that would last.
