Chapter Eight

Cece didn't want to look at her parents right now, her mum more then her dad. One month ago her mum told her that she wasn't old enough to know a huge secret but now her mum was leaving her in charge of their kingdom and her younger siblings. She just didn't understand her. "So when you are temporary Queen, can I be temporary Captain of the guards?" Flynn asked his older sister as they waited for their turn to say goodbye to their parents.

"Sure," she said as she remained looking at their parents and their younger siblings, the kingdom was watching and she wanted to look as ready as possible. "But Auntie Cassie is second in charge, you need to run everything pass her."

Flynn huffed, that was only half of the answer he wanted to hear, "But Aunt Cass is boring, she is all rules and no fun!"

"Flynn, I'm not going to fire Auntie Cassie." He sighed and completely turned over to his parents, he wasn't going to win, he knew. Plus he didn't want Aunt Cass to lose her job anyway, he just wanted to be in charge of the royal guards, like his dad.

"Dad, why can't we go with you to visit Papi Edmund?" Cecil, the youngest child of Queen Rapunzel and Prince Eugene. He has large brown eyes and is the public's second favourite Fitzherbert kid, the first being-

"It because the road is long to visit Papi and daddy and mummy think it would be best if we help out Cecily with ruling the kingdom", Princess Guinevere (or Wyn as she prefers), is only thirteen but the kingdom would choose her over her three older siblings any day.

After Wyn is Ana, she is only nine months older then Wyn but acts so much older, her full name is Anastasia Fiona Fitzherbert but they just call her ' The Runway ' they would probably call her the rebel princess if that title wasn't already taken by Flynn. "They probably just want a break away from us, not that I blame them," she muttered the last part under her breath.

"No Anastasia, that's not true. Cecil, it's just that your Papi Edmund is very busy as of late, he doesn't even know that your dad and I are visiting, it's a surprise visit," Rapunzel explained with a smile on her face the whole time, as Cecil listened to his mother he didn't actually hear a reason to why he couldn't go but he just smiled back to her as her smile was a smile that made you not question. Cecil and Wyn rapped each of their parents in a hug, Cecil hugging Rapunzel and Wyn hugging Eugene.

Eugene walked up to his middle daughter, "Your sister is going to be busy with the kingdom and Flynn is going to be busy with the guards, so it's up to you to take care of your younger siblings."

Ana crossed her arms, she would have preferred helping with the guards but that means she would have to work with Flynn and that wouldn't work as Flynn thinks Ana hates him. Ana was jealous of Wyn and she adores Cecil, she twisted her curly brown hair. "Fine." Eugene smiled as he hugged her, she tried to act upset by still but in reality, she was happy to have this small second of attention from her father.

Eugene and Rapunzel moved to Flynn and Cece, even though Cecelia could stand her mother right now she needed too, Flynn on the other hand was happy to shown how annoyed he is. "Cecelia, I'm sorry that we had to leave on such a rough conversation."

Cece smiled at Rapunzel as she shook her hands, "No, it's fine. As I said, I'm not mad," but that was a lie, "I'm a little hurt but that should go."

"That's a lie," Flynn called Cece out, she just shot him a look. "Oh come on Cece, you're mad and you deserved to be. If it was me I would be pissed."

Cece wanted to be mad at Flynn but she knew he was right, but even though he was right Cece didn't want to talk about it.

"Cece, Flynn is right. It's okay to be mad at us, but we didn't tell you for a good reason," Eugene explained to his eldest daughter.

Cece shook her head to his words as she tried to keep in her opinion on what her dad her but said but she said it anyway, "When has with holding information ever been a good reason?"

"Cecelia, I promise we will only be honest from now on," Rapunzel's green eyes sparked with truth and Cece knew her mum never broke a promise. Cece should be happy with that but she wasn't becuase if her mum is only honest then that makes Cece in the wrong because, she wasn't ready to tell the truth about how she knew.

Cece knew she couldn't be mad if she was also in the wrong so she hugged her parents goodbye and prepared herself for the month that was ahead of herself.

The Fitzherberts are such a defunctional family and I will improve their relationships through this book. Also sorry not posting a new chapter in forever but oh well, sorry.
