Adonis promptly assessed the condition Damien was in. He checked for a pulse, heartbeat and breath.

His organs were beyond crushed, his arms, legs and even chest had deep gashes. It's even a miracle he's still alive.

'Quickly a health pill and water!', [Yes host!], a bottle of water and pill popped into existence and landed in his hands.

Hastily pushing the pill into Damien's mouth he slowly poured the water through his parted lips.

'How's his condition?'

[He's fine now! Good job host! ᕙ('▿')ᕗ]

Adonis sighed in relief and calmed himself before carrying Damien. With Damien in his arms, he asked system where his room is.

Heading down the hallway after getting out of the bathroom, he couldn't help but feel sick. Damien was living here this whole time? Mold growing on the walls and dust filling the air, what made him want to stay here?.

Opening the door with one hand, he scanned the room for the bed which was snugly placed against the wall in the top left corner. Peeling back the worn-out sheets he placed him on the bed.

'I need some bandages and ointment. Some cuts are still bleeding', [Okay host!], with bandages and ointment in his hands, adonis carefully cleaned Damien up.

After he finished,he threw away the scraps in a nearby trashcan. Wiping off the sweat, he stood up and stretched. "That was close...", mumbling under his breath, adonis looked down at Damien. His eyes showed complicated emotions, reaching his hand to caress his face, he froze. Backing up away from him, he walked out of the room and gently shut the door.

While cleaning Damien up he saw scars everywhere. He never really noticed since he usually wore long sleeved shirts. That should've been the first red flag, yet he didn't notice it. Gritting his teeth and clenching his fists he wanted to punch himself.

'Now system, who did that to him'

Adonis was now beyond furious, he's never felt this way in a long time. The last time he felt like this, he almost killed someone.

System answered him, [The person villain was beaten up by is his uncle. After having both his parents murdered at the age of 7 he was placed into his alcoholic uncle's hands. Since no one had contact with them, they didn't know how badly he treated him. Every other day his uncle would beat him up until he can no longer breathe or walk. In the original story, after he turned 16, he murdered him and attended Asahi academy. So it's up to you host whether you want to kill him or not. It won't have any significance to the story if you get rid of him].

Walking down the stairs he peered at the place, looking at every nook and cranny. Deeply thinking about it he entered his uncle's room. Emotionless eyes looked at every possession this drunkard had.

System stayed silent, observing its host. Adonis headed back up to Damien's room. He opened the door and saw him in pain, breathing heavily.

'What's happening to him system'

[He seems to be having a nightmare host], hovering around him the crimson orb rested next to his face. Adonis gently intertwined their hands and Damien visibly settled. Clenching down his hand, adonis softly did the same.

'I'll speak with Damien when he wakes up about what he wants to do', making up his mind he sat down on his bed.

System stayed quiet, adonis noticed this and chuckled. 'Did I scare you?', with a smile on his face he said.
