I would like to state before I start this story, that it might not be my best work, and might be a little scattered due to some things I'm going through right now. However, I will try my best as I do with most of my stories, and try to keep updating for you guys if I can. Anyway, I know it isn't Christmas yet, but happy holidays everyone and stay safe during these hard times.

Elizabeth waited nervously for her lover to arrive as she pondered on how to ask the thing she had called him here for.

They had been together for almost six months now, and it just so happened that around that time was one of Elizabeth's favorite holidays, one that she was very excited to share with her significant other. Christmas.

The only issue was that she also wanted to spend that special time with the rest of the special people in her life. A group she had known since childhood.. The Seven Deadly Sins.

She hadn't spent much time with them recently due to the newness of her relationship, but now she felt ready to tell them why, and what better way for the seven to meet than at a Christmas party she was throwing?

However, there was a little bit of worry about this plan. Not becasue she was ashamed of who she was with, not at all... but, it was because she knew her friends would have trouble accepting what, he was.. a member of the demon clan, and not just any...

The Demon King's firstborn child, Meliodas.

She understood that it would take awhile for them to adjust. After all, Meliodas was one of the most feared and powerful demons in the land, but she also knew how kind he could be under that exterior he put up, and she was hoping they would see it too. At the very least, she knew they would respect her choice once they saw how happy she was with him, even if she couldn't make them understand it like she hoped.

She already had the decorations put up, food ready to be cooked, and invitations sent to her friends, now all that was left was convincing her boyfriend to come, which was the other hard part of this due to his stubborn nature and lack of any care for the holidays.

Pacing back and forth as she tried to think of the perfect thing to say to make sure he came, she failed to notice feet hitting the ground close by.

"It's rude to ignore someone, goddess."

She jumped slightly as the voice startled her from her thoughts.

"Oh, Meli! Sorry, I was just thinking about something. H-How are you doing? We haven't seen each other for awhile?"

He arched a brow at her odd behavior, but brushed it off, his usual blank face never faltering, regardless of his casual poster.

"Training, missions, duties, nothing out of the normal day for me. What about you?"

He spoke in a deep, harsh, voice that would have made most think he was mad, but if you knew him well like Elizabeth did, you could tell that he was actually in a very good mood. The tone was only caused by his aloof personality and demonic powers that he always kept up. Which was a very good thing for Elizabeth since that increased her chances for a yes from her lover.

"Um, well... actually there is something I want to talk to you about.. I-It's something for tomorrow night.."

He stopped sharpening his sword and looked at her, already telling that something was about to be asked of him by her nervous tone. He gave a sigh and shot her a slightly annoying look, showing he was listening.

"Well, a-as you know, t-tomorrow is Christmas Eve.. a-and every year I host a small gathering for all of my friends to come and enjoy ourselves.. I-I... I um.... IWasHopingYouWouldComeTooSoYouC-ouldMeetThem!"

The sentence came out all at once, but it got the message across, and Meliodas wasn't very pleased by it, a small scowl covering his features as hers turned nervous.

"You want me to celebrate that stupid little human tradition? Why? All it does is waste valuable time. Not to mention, why would you want me to meet them? It'll only make them uncomfortable and ruin your holiday. I'm not exactly a beloved by all kind of person."

"But you're beloved by me, and I know that you will be by them too once they meet you. Please just do this for me, they are very important to me and I want them to meet the other person who is also very important to me."

They simply looked at each other for awhile as one pleaded with big cerulean eyes and the other glared back trying to see if he could find a way to say no.

"Alright.. *sigh* I'll go. However, this doesn't mean I like the holiday by any means, I want that to be known to you."

She nodded in understanding happily, giving him a kiss of gratitude before saying her goodbyes and giving him an invitation so he knew the address and time to arrive.

"*Sigh....* How in the hell did I fall so hard for a goddess? She has me wrapped around her finger.."
