And I know that these will all be stories some day, and our pictures will become old photographs. And we'll all become somebody's mom or dad. But right now, these moments are not stories, this is happening. I am here, and I am looking at her. And she is so beautiful.

I can see it.

It's that one moment when you know that you're not a sad story, you are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder. And you're listening to that song, on that drive with the people you love most in this world. And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite.

Do you know that one time. That one feeling when you feel like you're on Cloud 9? When you feel like nothing could bring you down? Not even the worst of all tragedies?

When you feel like you can actually do something with your life. You get all worked up, and you think you can change yourself for the better. From that shy girl in the back of the classroom with her head tucked low and her hair covering her face, who is oh-so self-conscious, to that girl.

That girl who accepts her flaws, not giving a care in the world about what others say, with the happy-go-lucky personality? The girl that does everything she wants to, when she wants to and doesn't give a *uck what other people think. The girl who is always there for her friends and loves everything and everyone.

But then... you think to yourself, why change? Why change myself. And there's that nagging voice in the back of your mind, telling you to. To try to be that person that you want to be. To follow that voice, to follow your gut and just do it. To be everything that you want to be.

Do you know the feeling of when the debate is over? When your internal war is finally won. The tug on the corner of your lips when you're actually happy. When you finally decide what to do, and you know that it is what you want.

The fight is over, and you're proud of yourself for making a decision that you know that you're going to try your best at. Try your best to succeed, to see the finish line just a few feet away.

But then there's always that one part of you that's pitch black. Only the negatives fill it and it's like a black hole sucking the happy out of you.

And you start to think. What if this isn't the correct choice. What if I think I'm right... but I'm actually not?

The grin on your face slowly fades away until there is no emotion left in you. Your body feels numb and you don't know what to think. Your face is blank, except for the sparkle of fear in your eyes. The one that is unnoticeable unless you're close enough.

But you push those feelings away. The demons inside of you finally surrender, and you feel like that is the best feeling in the world. Well... it is.

***

She is exactly like that. The creation of two awkward people who found love unintentionally in a local Starbucks. Two lovers that were born to belong to the other.

She has wandered the Earth as a lonely spirit. Keeping to herself and only finding comfort in her family and 2 friends. The 3 Musketeers they called themselves.

Does it make sense to possibly believe in fate and making your own future both at the same time?  Saying, "everything happens for a reason" but also, "you are the only one that can create your future"?

That is what she thinks. Torn between 2 worlds.

When you think of it, it is possible. Someone could have set up your life for you. What you will be like, act like, look like. But again, you can always change it. Change how you're supposed to be.

And that is exactly what she does. Change her fate. Change her future.

Her life, her choice. Nothing else matters.

The Infinite Adventure.

Hopefully if you're reading this then you enjoyed it =) I personally think this is the best thing that I've ever written.

I just wanted to state that a song and a book inspired me to write this.

The movie is: The Perks of Being a Wallflower (as you can probably tell by the quote at the beginning)

And the song is: It's Time by Imagine Dragons. Although the song is about not changing yourself... I still got inspired. The song is to the right -------->

I really hope you enjoyed it. I also have to say that I'm not sure how long this is going to be. If I want it to be short story or not. So just putting it out there =) I'm mostly just writing this whenever I'm inspired. So I don't really have anything planned out for it. I guess it's a little like improv.

ALSOOO! I'd like to thank my brother and cousin for proof-reading this and making some changes =) Thanks Jason and Jenny! Um... so... yeah. Love You =)

And yeah.... I drew the cover... I'm still working on the whole cropping thing so the whole this fits so yeah. I just wanted to post it. =)
