As they rested and night came upon the two again, Izzie awoke and saw Koko was still sound asleep. Izzie watched in amazement at the scene before her. Never had she seen such a beautiful area. Is this what is it like? This place is beautiful. She slowly stood up and brushed herself off, careful not to arouse KoKo. Izz looked the way they had came and realized that it is not as colorful as the scene before them. She slowly walked a little further turning back to make sure she wasn't to far away and was still in view as well as reach. She was still able to see The Owl and continued to explore the little area they where in. "Wow, this place... If this spot is so amazing I'm excited to witness what else could be out here." As Izz was wondering around she noticed the sound of water coming from the north. "I wonder? Could there be a waterfall or stream nearby? I could go for some fresh water and a quick rinse."
Izzie makes her way back to KoKo to find her awake. "Hello, I noticed you had explored this small area. My, Isn't the stars beautiful tonight?" She said to Izzie in awe. Izz just nodded in agreement then realized.. "Oh yes they are lovely... KoKo?" Izzie said in wonder, "I heard the sound of a stream, maybe a small waterfall. I was thinking maybe we could go check it out? Get some fresh water and maybe a quick rinse." She says twiddling her thumbs. KoKo stretches her magnificent wings and shakes out the sleepiness from her bones. "Oh, I suppose we can. I don't see why not? but just remember we have to be absolutely careful. You have no idea what could be in these forests at night." The two head off in the direction Izz heard the water and made their way unto a lovely little stream flowing into a cave that has water trickling out of its rocks. Izz grabs her flask and starts to fill it up when she notices something shining in the lesser shallow part of the stream, closer to the caves entrance.
Izzie goes to get closer to see if she can reach, as she maneuvers her way her foot slips on a moss covered rock and she falls into the stream. Izzie gathers herself and stands up in the water looking down at her now drenched clothing.. "Jeez, when i said a quick rinse i wasn't meaning with my dress, jacket, and shoes on!" She chuckles. KoKo just laughs and says, "Come now, get out of the water and lets start a fire to dry your clothes. If we make it close enough to the wall, the rocks will heat up and they should dry faster." Izz goes to get out and then remembers why she was getting so close to the deeper part of the water anyway. "I almost forgot! KoKo there is a shiny object here in this water let me grab it real fast." She reaches back down into the water and starts to feel around. Izz finally feels the cool steal object and she wraps her hand around it. "Alas! I think I have gotten ahold of it!" She says in excitement. She goes to pull it out and soon realizes its not just any old thing. It was as if someone mystically put it there and when she pulled it free from the water she realized it wasn't just shiny. No it was illuminated! Izz was so in awe she barely felt the power flowing from the wand that slowly retreated into Izz's hand as if she was meant to have this wand and meant to experience its power. After the wand stopped glowing she didn't feel as if the power went away,no the power was now flowing through her instead of the wand.
KoKo looks in Izz's direction and saw the blinding white light inside of her. Of course!! It was then she realized that Izzie wasn't a just normal human being, but in fact a born witch. "Izzie!" She exclaimed, "Do you know where you come from? Like do you know your true background?" Izz looks confused and mentions "No, matter of fact I don't. I was never really told about my past and my birth mother was always either drunk or blitzed out of her mind to really tell me anything." Izzie looked at the ground fighting back tears. "I just never thought about anything like that before anyway... and I can't really talk to Danielle about anything because she isn't biologically my sister. She came into my life so many years ago and her family kinda adopted me, and that's why I have the last name of Summers. My birth given last name is really..." All of a sudden they hear a loud howl coming from the east with the ground shaking below them they realize they were no longer alone and that something was coming, and it was fast approaching...
Izz hurries up and puts out the fire grabbing her still dampened clothing and quickly throws her dress and stuff back on. She just barely gets her shoes back on when KoKo squawks at her, "Hide your wand and get behind that rock over there, we don't know if its a friend or foe." KoKo goes and perches on a nearby tree, hidden within the leaves. Izz does what she is told and stuff the wand in her hidden pocket of her black leather jacket. She hears the rumbling getting closer and soon realizes that she hears more than just one set of footsteps. Izz closes her eyes and concentrates on the sounds to try and pick them apart. In doing so she hears that one set is more of a running gallop like the sound of a horse running through the trees, and the second sounded more of heavy paws beating into the soft ground with a thunderous boom. She tries to peak to find her friend The Owl and alas has no luck. She starts to think and tries real hard to reach out to her with a mind link. Izz really did have a think for Fantasy Books so she prays that it works. She concentrates on the beating of her heart and slows it down and thinks of what she wants to say. KoKo? Can you hear me? if you can hear me please let me know you are safe. She repeats that thought into her head and it felt as if she said it a hundred times before to her amazement she got a reply. Thankfully it was KoKo with the reply. Izzie? I hear you! This is amazing, Good work, Yes I am fine I am hidden within the trees just keep quiet and try to not make a sound. KoKo too realized that it was more than one set of paws? Hooves? making the ground rumble.
Izzie concentrated on her surroundings to see if she could get a feel for what was going on around her. Soon she started visualizing the forest before her and she could see the events unfolding less than a mile away. She saw the creatures who were making the ground shake, it was as if they had came to a standoff. The rough looking creature Izzie notices first is a rouge, his fur mangy and his eyed filled with death. This poor creature, I wonder what could've happened to it. She wonders. The wolf doesn't seem to care about anything other than the one in front of him. His breathing is ragged and coming out in huffs. He continues to stare at the creature before him, licking his teeth, snarling. Then He pounces and Izzie lost connection. "FUCK!"
