"Morning,"
I slowly opened my eyes and looked into his hazel eyes.
"Hey, J"
The past week had been great, although there was one thing that I always wondered- If Collin done this to John, why didn't he just go home?
I slowly dragged myself out of my bed, across the hallway and into the bathroom. I climbed into the shower and let the shower radio blare as the hot water caressed every inch of skin.
"Hey, kids," the radio presenter said happily. "Today's August 18th, and it's back to school for all of you." A sense of reality hit me. This was my first public outing with my new boyfriend.
School was in session. I switched the shower off. Shaking off some water, I climbed out of the shower and pulled a towel around my waist. I slowly pandered into my room. My shirt and trousers lay neatly on my bed and my tie was hanging over the door. I pulled the white shirt and began buttoning it up when I was hugged from behind.
"Breakfast's ready, babe," a warm rush filled my cheeks, he called me babe. I began to freak out.
"I'll be down soon," i said, kissing his cheek as I let him go.
I finished getting dressed, we ate breakfast and left to catch the next bus. We didn't speak, hold hands just walked in silence.
"John?" I asked.
"Yeh?"
"What are we in public?"
He paused turned to face me.
"Rocks, I love you," he sighed. "But nobody can know about me being, y'know, gay."
I nodded and ran all the way to the bus stop he caught up quickly- having long legs was always an advantage. The bus pulled up and we climbed on, paid the fare and sat at the back of the bus. As the bus started to move, John lay his head on my shoulder. A cold tear began to slowly fall from my eye into his perfect blonde hair. I love him, but he needs to go home soon.
