Xania Pov

"Go now!" Abby shouted as Raven and I jumped into the pod. We got on our spacesuits earlier expecting Abby to leave with us.

"I'm not leaving you" I yelled at her as she held the door shut.

"Yes. Now go, please. For Clarke." Abby said.

"We have to go now," Raven said to me.

"Fine!" I yelled and sat down and strapped in.

"Ready for departure in 3, 2, 1..." She said pressed a button. The ship opened and we were out. I looked back at Abby. Of course, she was out of the room but her face was being pushed up against the window and looking at me.

"I'm sorry." I worded. She just nodded then got pulled back by the guards.

We had been floating around in space for a while before Raven spoke.

"Ok. RCS Valve... Open" She said pressing a button on the monitor. I just sat back and watched her. The pod was crammed. It was meant for one person so Raven was slightly sitting on my thigh. "RCS thrust pressure good. Ahh... Attitude good." She said and looked at me with a smile.

"Great," I said smiling back at her. "You look stupid with that thing on your head you know," I said smirking at her.

"Oh please. We have the same suit" She said looking away from me to the monitor.

"Heatshield... Good. Okay," She said nodding her head up and down while flipping some buttons. "Don't blow up" She whispered but I could barely hear her.

"What?" I said as she pulled on a lever. Before I could say anything else the pod had began its thrusters. We were slightly thrown around the pod. "There's a feeling I was expecting," I said smirking toward her as we were still being thrown around. I didn't get a response. Sparks came off the dashboard and she yelped. She screamed some more then beeping began to go off.

"Is that good or bad beeping?" I asked as my sweat glands started to do their thing.

"Normal beeping," She said while slightly whining out of fear.

I woke up to the sound of buzzing.

"Ugh, mm" I whined as took off my helmet. It was cracked. I was bleeding on my head from the impact of landing. "So much for a parachute", I whispered tapping my head.

"Pod one. Pod one. This is Arc Station medical if you are receiving this please respond" A voice came from the radio. I was about to respond when someone grabbed my hands. It was a boy with curly hair and freckles.

"You shot the Chancellor," I said recognizing him. I looked him up and down and realized he had a knife. I punched him in the face and he stumbled backward. I went to grab the radio to tell them we landed but the guy cut my arm.

"Bitch" I said taking my arm back.

"Can't let you do that" He said in a low gruff voice,  grabbing my arm and pulling me out. "Take off your suit." He said pointing the knife at me.

"Listen bud I'm not really in the mood," I said looking at him.

"I want you to take off your suit so they don't know you came from this pod. Understood" He said pointing the knife further at me. I was too lightheaded to fight so I did as he said.

"Why is your blood black?" He asked as I was taking off my spacesuit. We talked quietly so we didn't wake up Raven.

"I'm sure you heard of the girl with the black blood while you were on the ark," I said looking at him.
