Chapter 3
I get out the shower and I wrap myself in a towel I don’t hear my mom banging at my door anymore so then I get dressed so I could go to the park. I walk out of my room to see my mom and dad ready to lecture me about yelling at my mom and shutting the door hard. My mom says “Xela we need to talk about what had happen earlier Xela you need to tell us the truth honey are you on drugs”. I look at them I listen to the silent for about 5 mins and then I say “Are you out of your mind you think I’m on drugs no I’m just so mad about never mind I don’t want to talk about im leaving”. My dad then said “Oh no you are not going anywhere Xela expect rehab”. I look at them as if they were doing drugs why would they ever think I would do drug. I don’t even smoke or drink so what was on their minds had they gone crazy for even thinking that. “Are you out of your freaking minds I would never even touch that stuff why would you guys even think that you know what never mind I don’t even want to why you guys think that I am leaving and you know what just like I said earlier you guys don’t understand me because if you did you would know that I would do that”!!!!! As I walk to the door I feel my dad’s cold hand on my arm “ you are not going anywhere Xela” he says to me I pull my arm as hard as I could away from him and I run out the door and shut it as hard as I could. I start to run as fast as I could down the street I hear to the back of me “Xela get back her now”!!!!!!!
