This is a list of qualities and personality traits of a reader paired with Ruby
Just as Childish: this one is actually quite rare, but it is the personality of a young teenage that's optimistic and has dreams, this one is good from a storytelling perspective, some of the others don't fit well with the RWBY story... like- really bad writing, like me 2 years ago bad... that bad
More OP: this one is one of the worst, like, it's so frickin stupid, I don't know why people do it, or why they feel a need to do it, but some people feel the need to make their OC or reader (for an insight to the mind of most writers, "Reader" isn't actually the reader, most of the time they're just using reader as another word for OC, because reader books get more attention) to be more powerful than anyone in the fuckin cast, and this really pisses me off because it's bad writing. These ones are often cocky, not deep, and "we're abused" which is half the stories on this fucking website, not to mention, the abuse portrayed in these books isn't even close to what real abuse is like, from firsthand experience.
Bad boy: this is also a bad one, well, maybe not, if done correctly it could make for a good story, but most of the times it is not, these guys are mostly (much like the last guy) abuse victims, because the author has no idea how to ad depth to a character, and are douchebags, I don't like how in most of the stories featuring this character type, the "bad boy" often insults teachers, ozpin etc. And the affor mentioned people act so out of character, it makes me want to pull my hair out.
Big brother: also good if done right, he's an optimistic person who helps those around him and looks out for Ruby, they work because they're fuckin believable. He's rarely angered and often makes jokes (this type is mostly seen is romance comedy's not that gritty shit like the x abused reader)
Boom Ruby done, now for the countless other females in this fuckin franchise
