The demon in red (alastor x human reader)

Part 1

-Alastor's POV-

It was mid summer I'd say and charlie had me running errands all day and now I finally have a break, not like the tasks were hard, but they weren't entertaining in the slightest! So I've decided to stroll around the living world and see if I can find myself some entertainment!.

I held my arms behind my back as I strolled down the sidewalk passing by the humans, although they didn't acknowledge me since I hid somewhat in the shadows you could say.

I continued walking before stopping in my tracks and looking back over at a young girl who sat under a large oak tree, reading.

"Hmm.." my curiosity got the best of me and I strolled over to where she was sitting and took a look down at the little doll "how peculiar.. sitting all alone" I thought to myself I decided to take a look at what they were reading. "Oh how wonderful! Marvellous choice really" it was f/b (favourite book) why I myself read that in my early years before my life ended.

The girl I had been watching swiftly closed her book and shoved it into her bag as soon as a ringing sound went off? I stood back a bit as I watched her stand up looking a bit distressed "oh noo I'm late again! This happens ever time" I tilted my head as she ran off towards the bus stop and once again my interest peaked where was she going? I teleported beside her as she sat in one of the seats at the back of the bus. Perhaps this human could satisfy my need for entertainment! I smiled widely thinking of all the fun me and this human could have although I would have to introduce myself first.. and that could end up rather- well a mess but hopefully I won't scare them off I find them rather interesting.

-Y/N POV-

I took a deep breath as I placed my bag because me, hopefully I'll make it there on time but knowing me I'm probably going to be late once again "good job y/n A plus really!" I sarcastically said to myself before feeling a chill go down my spine making me shiver slightly "what the hell is that-" I looked around noticing nothing out of the ordinary and shrugged it off before taking out my phone and plugging my headphones in and choosing a song.

-Alastor's POV-

I watched as she shivered from my touch before shrugging and taking out some sort of device? I held in a chuckle at her reaction and removed my hand from her back thinking back to what she had said to herself "so her names y/n it seems fitting, a lovely name for quite a lovely lady!" I then decided to take a closer look at her facial features noticing she had big beautiful e/c eyes and a pretty set of lips I was shocked to find I had been staring at her lips for a fairly long time considering we made it to her stop.

She looked out the window and got up abruptly, grabbing her bag and running out the door with me following close behind curiosity growing stronger as to where she was going
She made a couple turns before stopping in front of a- what I assumed to be a brothel my face instantly turned red at the thought of my human doing such things, surely this is a mistake- I shook my head making the redness go down as I followed her in waiting to see what she'd do and let out a relieved sigh as she went to the bar "oh thank goodness she's just a bar tender" I laughed at myself and took a seat in front of her wondering when I should reveal myself to her perhaps when she gets home.

Time seemed to pass by slowly as sleazy scum came and went from the bar usually trying to get y/n to give them her number and I stood beside her watching them slightly annoyed but not enough to do anything about it until one person came over and proceeded to grab her in her shall I say sensitive parts? Of course he did earn a good slap from her which made me smile and he left shortly after and the rest of the night went by quicker and her shift was finally over and she had grabbed her coat and bag and left, of course I tagged along I couldn't let anything happen to my human before I could formally introduce myself to her!

I smiled and continued walking with her as she got pulled into a dark alleyway I immediately stopped walking and looked towards her noticing the fellow from the bar that was being to touchy- how dare he lay his hands on her my eye slightly twitched as he pinned her against the wall and roughly groped her body, Unfortunately this is not how I wanted her first look at me to be but it must be done.

I snapped my fingers as I stepped out of the shadows making my way behind him my smile growing larger with rage as she looked at me with widened eyes, I then grabbed that scoundrel by the neck and lifted him off of her making her fall to the ground shaking slightly, I returned my gaze to the frightened man and dug my claws into his neck making him choke on his blood before clawing off his hands and say in a distorted voice "now you can never lay your hands on another woman again" I dropped him to the floor before snapping my fingers again making me look back to normal before turning to face my human seeing that they had passed out "oh my.. darling?" I gently placed my hand on her cheek slightly tilting her head up at me and she slowly fluttered her eyes open instantly getting startled by me and backing up accidentally banging her head against the wall "OW-" she then rubbed the back of her head "darling I didn't mean to startle you but you should be more careful!" She attempted to stand up wobbling a bit so I decided to pick her up bridal style "w-who are you??" I chuckled a bit before answering "well my darling y/n I am alastor!" She took a deep breath before nodding her head "okay then uh- a-alastor better question is what are you?" "Ahah I am a demon my dear but fear not! For I shall not hurt you, now then shall we get you home? It's awfully late and every lady needs her beauty sleep" she laughed a bit which made me smile "a-alright then alastor" she told me where she lived and I decided teleporting would be more efficient so that's exactly what I did on the way there she felt more relaxed and let out a quiet yawn as I walked up her stairs leading her to her bedroom before placing her down gently and kissing her forehead softly "goodnight my darling y/n" she smiled tiredly up at me "goodnight alastor" I then left her to sleep and went to look around her living room until she would awake in the morning.
