"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

Roman listened to the endless exchange between Nightingale and Fynn, the colt having started pestering the stallion twenty minutes ago. Everyone was exhausted as they followed Nightingale through the forest, maybe following a path, but it was really hard to tell.

"Are we there yet?" Fynn a asked once again, Roman hearing a low groan from behind him, deciding that it was either Virgil or Logan since they were the ones who'd be more annoyed by questions over and over and over again. Him and Remus were fine since they pestered each other constantly, Janus had to be with Remus so he was immune to it, and Patton had to hang out with Roman so he too was immune. Nightingale seemed like he was about to snap at any moment, one of his half closed eyes twitching, before his formerly drooping ears perked up.

"Yeah, we actually are," he said, trotting forward.

"Finally," Roman heard someone mumble behind them, but he just rolled his eyes to himself.

"Welcome to Aurous," said Nightingale, everyone jostling to him to see this great city.

There was a long moment of silence between all of them as they stared.

"Nightingale... that's a bush," Janus said, breaking the silence.

Nightingale snorted and rolled his eyes, using his silver horn to push back the brush and their eyes were flooded with the brightest light known to the world, even brighter than waking up at 3 am to check your phone after you forgot to turn down your brightness. It took a second for their eyes to adjust, but once they did and they saw the view it was absolutely breathtaking.

The city was entirely made of gold, or it looked that way. There were quaint little cottages lined in gold trim near them, but farther past there were buildings that seemed to be made of solid gold, and smack dab in the middle of it all was a massive castle, it appearing to be made entire out of white marble and gold.

"It's beautiful!" breathed Roman.

"On the surface sure, but don't get too attached, we're only here to resupply," Nightingale snorted, walking out of the forest and down the street. Everyone else followed him, their hooves clicking on the smooth cobblestone road, the sidewalks a pure white stone with lamp posts that seemed to be like old timey ones (in the sense that you have an actual candle in them) lining the street. Unicorns that Roman assumed were Solar unicorns were trotting down the sidewalk, some moving down the road while pulling  carts and wagons. These unicorns were beautiful, their coat colors all being bright and eyes catching, like white with chestnut spots, pearl white, or golden buckskin. Their manes and tails looks so silky and the color in their tips were so vibrant it looked like a Pride parade. All of their horns were either a golden or pale golden color and a spiral, like typical unicorns in fantasy books.

It was magical, like something that came out of a Disney movie.

"Nightingale are you sure we can't stay longer? This place is so pretty!" Roman said, his eyes darting around to take every single detail in.

"Yes I'm sure, you lot want to learn magic don't you?" retorted the black stallion.

"Well yes, but I don't see why we can't just take a look around. For a day or two, to let us rest after traveling through the mountains," Logan of all people (unicorns?) said.

"Yeah! And we would get to learn more about this world so we won't look like idiots," added Patton.

"Plus we can meet new people, get to know the locals and all," Remus grinned, the four looking at Nightingale with pleading eyes.

The Lunar unicorn groaned, tossing his back before looking between them all. He let out a loud huff, his ears folding back.

"Ffffffiiiiinnnnneeeee! We can stay here for three days so you all can do your cultural osmosis. I'm going to rent some hotel rooms now that you lot want to go tourist. We'll get the supplies on the last day. Go have your fun," Nightingale caved in, the four cheering, Fynn joining in.

"Make sure you go in pairs at the least. If you get lost I'm not searching for you," grumbled Nightingale as he trotted away, Fynn cantering behind him.

"I dunno about you guys, but I'm going to look around!" Roman said, taking off in a fast trot down the road, hearing a set of clicks behind him. He looked over to see Remus following him, a happy grin on his face.

In hindsight Roman probably should've looked where he was going, because he ran right into another unicorn, both tumbling to the ground while faint gasps were heard.

"Oh shit, so sorry about that!" Roman said, shaking his head and looking up to see who he'd accidentally tripped.

They appeared to be a female, with a long silky white mane and tail tipped in gold, their coat being a golden color with a wide white blaze and white legs. A pale golden horn was located on their forehead, it a single spiral, almost like the ones you'd see in fairytale stories.

"Maybe you should watch where you're fucking going, Geode moron!" they snapped and, while Roman wasn't a real Geode unicorn, he was still offended.

"Well excuse you," muttered Roman, heaving himself to his hooves.

"Princess Oriana are you okay?" a unicorn behind the other asked, helping the golden one two their hooves.

Romano's expression shifted from the annoyed one to an "oh shit" expression as he heard the title.

"Uhm, Princess?" he said, really hoping he didn't just sass a monarch.

"Yes, I am Princess Oriana of the Solar Kingdom, and these two are my friends, Val and Flow," said Oriana, rolling her blue eyes.

"Oh, I'm so sorry your majesty, I didn't know you were a princess," Roman sputtered, Remus laughing at his brother's plight.

"Leave it to you to knock over royalty, Roman," his twin snickered, the princess' eyes moving to Remus.

"Do you have something to say, dickhead?" she snapped, Remus' grin getting even wider.

"Yeah! I like you, you're hilarious. I'm Remus and this is my twin brother Roman. We're from out of town, if it want obvious. So what were you doing out here?" he said.

"I'm going to get fucked," she answered.

"Kinky, mind if we come?" Remus asked, Roman blinking at him like he'd lost his mind.

"Sure. I've got nothing better to do. The club is this way," Oriana said, trotting across the street with Remus and Roman right behind her, along with her two friends.

"This is either going to go really good, or really bad," Roman thought as they neared a building that looked to be a madhouse.

Yes! Got to introduce another character, the ever so lovely Princess Oriana.
And we get a few Roman and Remus centric chapters, since Oriana is their 'friend' now, I guess. Stay tuned for Oriana's story/ journey and how the twins help her out.
