Secrets

Remember that only Kakashi, Shikamaru, Sasuke, Hinata, Hiashi, and Ino know the truth about the twins. 

It has been two weeks since Hinata visited Sasuke's place and since she tried to avoid Sakura and Naruto. The twins would often visit her at the Hyuuga compound or they would meet at the training ground. Sasuke is still under house arrest so he could not go out unless he gets a permit from the Hokage. Although he could not get to see Hinata, the twin's daily tales slowly water Sasuke's curiosity every day. 

However, for Hinata keeping the secret is killing her on the inside. One second she is enjoying herself with the twins but in another, she has to act as if they are strangers. Should she be relieved that no one knows she will have kids with the infamous Uchiha or should she feel guilty that she has to treat the twins as such. 

All it took was two weeks for Hinata to make her decision that she will openly tell her friends when the Hokage declares that it is okay to do so. She knew how it feels to be rejected and she couldn't bring herself to purposely do it to the twins. No matter what, she accepts the fact that they are her children and she must protect them. Since she is going to get criticizes for everything that she does anyway then she will choose to do what she believes is the right thing to do. 

Since everyone is still busy cleaning and rebuilding Konoha, it was nothing out of the ordinary to see new people. The twins were introduced as orphans caused by the war and were accepted into the village. Their fake name is Tsukasa Iizuna and Hina Iizuna. They have to wear contacts to cover their byakugan and conceal the majority of their chakra to make them seem as ordinary as possible. In the paperwork, the Hyuuga were to host the twins but they prefer to stay with Sasuke. Hinata was able to spend time with them and make everything look normal because she was assigned as their guide. 

In the meantime, Naruto and Kakashi continue to try and convince the leaders to let Sasuke off his probation. 

Ino would have spilled the beans to Sakura and everyone if she wasn't representing her clan. As she watches everyone be fooled about the twins it was like a volcano at the edge of erupting. 

"How come no one sees the resemblance of Hinata or at least Sasuke?" 

It has been two weeks since she read the twins' minds. She tries to bring up Sasuke to Sakura but Sakura was busy working and training under Tsunade. Today is Sakura's rest day and their hangout day. They promised to go clothes shopping together and have a relaxing day. 

Sakura couldn't stop talking about Sasuke. Ino is glad she got over the phase of fangirling about Sasuke. She has no idea why she liked Sasuke so much in her teenage year. In their generation, Sasuke is the definition of HOT but he wasn't the only one who was good-looking. Why waste energy on someone who doesn't even care about you?

"Ino Pig!" Sakura slaps her back. "Ne! What are you thinking about? It seems like you didn't even listen to what I said." 

"Hey! You billboard brow! What was that for? Of course, I heard everything that you said. Sasuke this... Sasuke that... Sasuke everything..." Ino hands her items to the cashier. " You know... isn't it time for you to stop crushing on Sasuke? He almost killed you!" 

"Hey, you don't know anything about love. He was blind by revenge and now that got out of the way he will realize that the person who always believed in him is me. He will see how good my love is and eventually he will fall in love with me too." Sakura grabs her bag and walks out with Ino. "I would literally give him my heart if that is what it takes." 

"You're being delusional!" Ino stops and faces Sakura. "Face it you big forehead! Look if he like you then you don't have to do anything and he would love you. You don't need to chase him, he will chase after you! A decade is long enough for you to see that he have no interest in you. Have you never thought that he already has someone in his heart?"
