Out Of One World And Into Another
I would like to point out that I do not own Sword Art Online or any of its characters, I only own Midnight and her sword. (The picture at the start is Jaime)
I walk as slow as I could to the only place I called home, the orphanage. Sure, I’m happy that I got the new game called “Sword Art Online” but I hate it at the orphanage! It was so dull! Lets not bore you with the details though and let me tell you about this new game I got! “Sword Art Online” Is the newest and only VRMMORPG which stands for “Virtual reality, massive multiplayer online role playing game”, you play it on the nerve-gear, which is a headset needed to go into the game, it uses brain waves to make your brain think you are in the game itself! It is so cool! In SAO all you need to do is beat all 100 floors with the other players, like your regular RPG games you beat floors, level up and all that kind of stuff. I sigh as I walk into the orphanage. It was supposed to be an all boys orphanage but i was an exception, I was the only girl there, it’s kinda annoying but i deal with it, they are my family after all!
“Hey, Jaime!” Yells Leon, one of the youngest here. He’s been here since he was born, so I think for seven years. I don’t get why people won’t adopt him! He is so adorable!
“Can you play hide and seek with Chris and me??” Chris was the same age as me and he loved to play with the younger ones.
“Sorry bud,” I giggle, “But I’m going to my room to play on my new game, maybe next time?”
“Ok Jaime! Bye bye!” Leo giggles as he ran off to play. I walk to my room with a smile.
“Alright!” I yell to myself, ecstatic “Time to go into SAO!” I walk over to my bed and pull out the nerve-gear I bought with my money I get from my part-time job. I put it on my head and lay down on my bed with it plugged into the wall.
“Link start!” I yell as i close my eyes, smiling. I open my eyes and notice that I am at the login screen. I quickly tap in my user and password. My username is Midnight, once I put in my password it takes me to the choose appearance part. My avatar has dark purple eyes and smooth, long navy blue hair with bangs covering my right eye. I have a black starter outfit which is just black clothes with some weak, light armour as a chestplate. I tap “finished” and I am teleported to floor one, “The town of beginnings”. I run happily through town, almost bumping into people.
“Hey! Watch where you’re going!” A guy with red hair screamed, glaring at me
“Sorry! Sorry!” I say helping him up, “I gotta go!” I yell as I take off running again, That man I bumped into kept yelling at me though. I run and run until I get to the fields, there are boars everywhere! I go into my menu and equip the starter sword, I run up to one of the many boars and swung at it, killing it with one hit!
“Wooh!” I shout ecstatic, happy that I killed my first monster. The congratulations screen popped up, It says that I got 50 col! Col must be the currency in the game!!
“That was so cool! How did you do that?!” I spun around and notice a kid my age with black hair, is he talking to me??
“Are you talking to me?” I ask, pointing to myself,
“Of course I am! I haven’t seen any level one, one shot a boar!” Mystery guy says smiling, “I’m Kirito!”
“I’m Midnight.” I say shaking hands, “Wanna be friends?”
“Sure.” Mys- I mean Kirito says smiling softly to me. I smile wide and send him a friend request, which he accepts!
“I have to go now,” I sigh, sad I have to leave my new friend “My family is probably wondering if I’m ok.” Kirito smiles at me
