Horizon Naval OutpostShips go in and out of the make-shift harbor. The construction of it was deemed necessary as the navies of the Alliance can't afford to have ships go in, back and forth, while giving the ships shifts. So the construction fell into the hands of the Europeans and Russians as their skill in construction overshadowed the stretched American engineers.
The harbor had 5 piers enough 20 small to medium sized vessels to be docked. 13 if you want to dock naval vessels. A heavy-lift crane is under construction and when operational, could be the start of the second phase of the base. A small prefab complex has been made to accommodate the researchers and scientists as well as the military personnel.
The 27 naval vessels sent to guard the new base and its operators have been patrolling the waters for a while, with the 60th Destroyer Squadron on its transit from Hamburg to reinforce the stretched vessels.
The 12th Operations Fleet on the other side has been guarding the gateway for well over 4 months, keeping a minimum of 12 ships as active patrol groups.
But right now, he's not focusing on those facts as he types the reports for both the Naval Ministry and Admiral Wolfgang. The clanking of his typewriter ceases to stop as he quickly finished his report for this week. The clanking finally ends as he pulls out the sheet of paper before placing them in an envelope.
He stands up and leaves the room, tired and wanting a nap. But he wouldn't as he is busy. Commodore Allerson walks down the hall of the newly constructed headquarters for the Expeditionary Force. The force grew from a meager 10,570 personnel to a greater number of 37,000 personnel. The base personnel have been pulled from the reserve personnel from both the Navy and the Army. With elements of the 9th Division from the National Defence Force and 527th Armour Battalion from the Army. The 4th Marine Battalion have been assigned to the base, but are currently on their way from Ramsgate. The Americans and Russians sent their own forces through, number 5,300 and 7,525 respectively.
He passes by the marines as they conduct their drills while the base personnel continue construction and maintenance of the ships.
He stops in front of the liaison vessel, handing out the reports to the captain and ordering him to get it delivered immediately. He salutes at the commodore before boarding the vessel and immediately leaving towards the high seas.
As he watches the vessel disappear over the horizon, he runs back to HQ, having the thought to go to bed early.

Naval Radar Station Florence, Cutler Hill, TerraNaval Radar Station Florence was constructed when the first engineers arrived, which were numerous. The radar station was situated atop a hill, its design devired from the radar stations that watched the Atlantic.
The station occupied 20 acres of land, having the plots for future needs. A barracks and main complex were built to accommodate the personnel and equipment of Echo Company, a marine contingent aboard one of the Russian transports.
Captain Nikolai walks down the building's main hall as he observes his men conduct drills or manning their post with diligence. He opens the door that leads to the radar room, removing his hat and leaving it on the coat rack.
Nikolai:"Gentlemen, how are the systems?"
Radar Officer:"Almost fully operational. The final systems will be finished within 3 days sir."
Nikolai:"Good, with this, we can keep an eye out at sea and air."
Radar Officer:"Captain, do you think this station will find anything?"
