Chapter Thirty: Exhaustion

So much has happened in the last couple months, i don't even know where to start! Cade is now three months old, everyone is just head over heels in love with him. Reese got a new girlfriend so he doesn't come around much anymore, she's like a prison warden and forbids him to do anything without her and nobody in our group really likes her.

Kyle and Ashley are dating now... Tadley didn't know how to feel about that at first but i got him to come around. Who better to take care of his sister and his niece than his best friend? Plus, their chemistry is out of this world! They make such a cute couple.

There is also a new couple... are you guys ready for this?! I don't think you are... because i totally wasn't and i was shocked as all hell. Nobody expected it.... drum roll please! The new couple is.... JAMES AND TROY!!!

Apparently Troy is bisexual and was just too afraid to tell anyone, but he and James hit it off and they are absolutely adorable together! I think that about covers everything that's happened the last few months...

I'm supposed to meet the girls for lunch, and Tadley is at work, so little man is coming with me! Not that i've let him out of my sight since he was born. I had him laying in the middle of the bed and surrounded him with pillows so he didn't roll while i got dressed. I got dressed in a cream ribbed crop top, white skinny jeans with slits in the knees, and grey ankle boots. I left my hair in natural waves and put on some light makeup, then i went and changed Cade's diaper and got him dressed. I put him in a black and grey stripped shirt that says 'duh' and matching pants, i put his black beanie on his head and admired how freaking adorable my son is.

I packed his diaper bag and made sure i had everything both he and I would need and then i gently picked him up and carried him downstairs. I strapped him into his car seat in the living room, then lifted his car seat onto my forearm. I made sure everything was locked up and then carried everything outside to my car. I secured his seat, put the diaper bag on the floorboard, and then went and got in and started the car.

When i got to the restaurant, got parked, got Cade's car seat and diaper bag out, i walked into the restaurant and glanced around until i found the girls sitting at a table and made my way over to them.

"Ahhh! I've missed you so much!" Lacey exclaimed over dramatically.

"You literally seen us last night..." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, that's too long without seeing that handsome wittle face!" She argued.

"Hand the baby over!" Ava demanded. I laughed and set the car seat down on a chair and carefully took Cade out and handed him over to Ava. I heard a scoff behind me and turned to see a old lady sitting there shaking her head and clicking her tongue at me.

"I'm sorry, can i help you?" I asked raising my eyebrows. I don't know this lady, so i don't know why she's sitting there shaking her head and clicking her tongue at me.

"You're a new mom and you're dressing like a hooker? Have you no shame?" She demanded.

"Excuse me?" Who the hell does this lady think she is?

"You need to have more self respect, you're a mother now, you have an image you need to hold." She responded. Oh hell no.

"First of all, you don't know me, so don't be coming at me with that bull crap. Secondly, how i dress in no way shape or form effects my parenting skills... and Lastly, there is nothing wrong with how i'm dressed, i'm completely covered except for a little bit of stomach. So how about you stop worrying about how i dress, and start worrying about yourself? Sound like a plan? Great! Have a nice rest of your day." I resisted the urge to flip her off. I hate people who can't mind their own business, like seriously, if you don't have anything nice to say then keep it to yourself.
